A friend recommended The Kickin Crab for a great seafood spot so we decided to try it for dinner last Friday evening. We arrived between 5:00-6:00 pm so there was no wait time. We were seated immediately upon arrival. The server greeted us with a smile and answered our questions about several menu items. We decided on shrimp tacos and grilled trout. The tacos came out a few minutes later but it took forever to receive the other dish and when we finally did, the veggies were cold and fish overcooked. The tacos were dry and lacked flavor. Sorry I did not take photos. We may give them another try one day but probably a different location.

We expected this place to be good, but we were completely wowed by the flavor of everything we had! Oysters bigger than we’ve ever seen, an interesting but tasty take on Cajun edamame, and then some of the tastiest mussels we’ve ever eaten in a sauce so rich in flavor! Definitely recommend the Kickin’ Style sauce for any bag item!

Meh, it's ok. I got the garlic noodle and garlic taco. It was good just not the best I've had. As for as service, they focus heavily on providing good customer service so that alone I'd come back. I need to put disclaimer I like spice so i believe the sauce they use is too sweet but I'll give them another shot .

I ordered the tilapia the fish was over fried very dried. And tough had to use a knife to cut it. Not worth what they are charging for dried out over fried fish don’t waste your time or money.

The service was horrible except for one waiter that wasn't even working our table the manager was nice it's expensive and not worth what you could do cheaper and better yourself. I do come from Corpus Christi so my sea food stands are high. I have to admit it was good food but we will not be returning here .
I have gone to all the kickin crabs around DFW and this location BEATS all locations and other restaurants that serve same food! They put the right amount of sauces not greed like the others and food has lots of flavor.
Love the garlic noodles they seem plain but once you bite into those noodles you’re gonna catch your self just eating more and more.
Fries are the best appetizer to have!
Love this location kind pricey but so worth it for what all your getting!

My first rating was 5 now its 3...the taste and serving size declined...was not as good as it was back in October..
Update went for my birthday 8/19 and the crawfish were so small it was not worth the purchase, not sure where thise crawfish came from but I was very disappointed. Juicy Crab crawfish were bigger so the excuse I was given that it was not crawfish season anymore was questionable.

My family and I went here late on Saturday night, we did have to wait a bit but it wasn’t too bad compared to other spots. We each got the headless shrimp with Cajun medium spice, I added in crawfish which was very good. Definitely plan on going again if I’m craving seafood boil.
