Great flavor and texture is spot on! Can’t wait to go back.
Food was good. Chocolate dessert was excellent. Will go again
We visited in December 2024. The first thing the waiter said was how we can make our own pasta. You would think he'd want to go over the most popular items. The Pesto Pasta Palooza wasn't cooked enough. It was so hard. Chef Troy's Vegan Lasagna has a spicy sauce and the menu doesn't mention it being spicy. The Grilled Lion's Mane & Polenta was bland. Felt like it needed salt or more sauce.
The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. I wanted to try everything on the menu and will definitely be back to continue with ordering different items. I are the Lions mane steak with crispy polenta and had the salad to start. The banana bread pudding for dessert was Out of this world. A must try in the Dallas area.
I've grabbed food from here several times, but primarily through Ubereats. I've only dined in a few times. All of the dishes I tried were pretty good. The only issue I've had is the beans being undercooked in the chili, as evidenced by the beans being a bit crunchy. Also, the buffalo cauliflower and mac n cheese meal just tastes okay. For everything else, I didn't have complaints. Updated from previous review on 2024-07-17
Extensive menu with optional three course experience. Quaint atmosphere. Friendly staff.
Great stuff! Got the impossible chickn fried steak Updated from previous review on 2024-10-28
We were introduced to Haapy Cow from a guy we met, who's a vegan, at another restaurant. Yaaaay! I decided to use it about a month later. My husband and I were warmly greeted by Zach. After informing him it was our first time there, he seemed as excited as me ☺️ The flavor of the lasagna was wonderful. However, it was a bit too spicy for me. I am looking forward to trying the other items on the menu. And I will get the lasagna again, I'm sure ?
Dang good food for veg and omni alike.
Our server Zac, owner Troy, and entire staff are amazing as always. Always super friendly from start to finish. All the staff truly elevate the customer service experience to another level not often seen in restaurants in this country. The food is top-notch with so many innovative, unique plant based alternatives to meat. They take no shortcuts and their commitment and passion truly shows in each dish provided. Absolutely love this place.
Restaurantji Recommends
I had the lasagna, and my husband had the chicken fried "steak" with a portabella mushroom. Both were delicious! And I'd recommend saving room for dessert because those are very good as well. The restaurant is small and quaint with a great vibe - perfect for a casual date night. And the staff is very friendly and accommodating. We are not vegan (or even vegetarian) but are so glad we gave this place a try. I definitely recommend!
This place was amazing. My daughter is vegetarian so we wanted to all go somewhere special for her bday. This place did not disappoint. All meat eaters and we thought it was fabulous.
I ordered the General Tso's and got lasagna and strawberry cake to go. The food and presentation was AMAZING!!! The lasagna was my favorite!! I would recommend TLC Café 10/10! I most definitely will return
Loved this place! We really wanted to try vegan food, so this was our first vegan experience. TLC did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the wait staff was wonderful. We will definitely be back!
Customer service was A1, waitress and other waiters were very kind and attentive! 10 stars there, food was very mid, could've used more seasoning on everything. Lemonades were 10/10, ambience was cute!
