Food takes way to long. The shake is made first and when taking that home for someone else it is always runny, no longer a shake, maybe ask if they would like now or when food is ready. Service is hit or miss.

Food was hot and fresh. Staff was very inviting. I went with my baby boy and we shared the dumplings and a chicken fried steak basket. I travel ALOT and Dairy Queen is the only fast food place I’ll go to because I’m never disappointed. And this is one of my better experiences.

I am a FedEx driver here in Gatesvillie, Tx. And man I am very impressed with the cleanness of the restaurant and the quiet and peace to enjoy your food unlike other places. But mannn when I tell you this is the best Dairy Queen burger I have had ever in my life compared to other Dairy Queen’s! Mann the temperature and the flavor and freshness of the food and meats and fries. Burgers had enough juice and the cheese was melted on and tasted like I just had a krabby patty from SpongeBob! The fries were nice and crunchy with enough salt! This gentleman that’s included in the back of this picture deserves the props! He even asked me how was the burger and I was like man I’m ready to fall asleep going home. And you know when you fall asleep after some food that was a fantastic meal! Props to him and I made a new friend here and I’ll be stopping by every time I pass by DQ at this location! His name is Carl! So make sure he makes your burger and food because you can taste the perfection with it! Thanks Carl!

Rio Grande City Texas had number 1 spot for the worst dairy queen I've ever been to,that all changed today i was in gatesville texas an there drive thru speaker was down so I waited 45 minutes in line just to be told that there is no ice cream available at this time. Could've sent an employee out to tell the people waiting in line that there machine is broken. What a poor excuse of a restaurant!!!

Im not typing the type to leave reviews because I know that stuff happens and we hall have bad days. But I went this evening to get ice cream with my mom and sisters since I’ve been sick and really just wanted ice cream. We all got something and I understand that someone ordering 6 ice creams isn’t ideal but the young man at the window was really nasty to my mom. My mom asked to make sure we had ordered 6 bc she wasn’t sure if she had gotten the right amount for everyone and He told her he hopes she stubs her toe when taking her payment and then told her he would have it out quickly with the nastiest sarcastic attitude. My mom laughed it off and she doesn’t let those things get to her but it was really unnecessary. I’ve worked in food service my whole life and I completely understand that some days aren’t great but treating someone like that is never ok. Just really disrespectful and disappointing honestly. We then had to go to the gas station to buy more chocolate to put in our blizzards because they barely put any in them and left us mostly vanilla ice cream.
