“My family and I stopped here today. So glad we drove a mile out of our way for these burgers! These were absolutely the best burgers!! Everything was fast and tasty. The burgers actually tasted like real beef and were seasoned superbly. The ladies working the counter were the sweetest!When we got an hour down the road my kids were asking if we could turn around and go back for more burgers!! Lol”

“10/10 pizza. We visited Gatesville for the Solar Eclipse and there aren't many food options in the town. There are some corporate pizza stores and all but we would rather support a family owned business. STUDEBAKERS PIZZA is by far the best pizza I've had, ever. I highly recommend it if you are in or near the area.”

“The owner came and talked to not just us he talked to a couple of people in a couple of different cars. Nice man I think he said he was 79 and he is Greek. And has had the burger boy for around 25 or 30 years!! Very very great !!Parking: It is a small place but they do you great on the amount of food .”

“This restaurant in Gatesville is a hidden gem if you don't live in or around Gatesville. Highly recommend you stop and eat here if passing through. The Chicken Jalisco plate is on point. I get this plate at least 1 - 2 times a week. They never disappoint.”

“From out of town…wanted Bar B Que..really liked the flavors of the food..good portions….my only complaint or concern would be ..I have a manager food handlers certificate…the food was luke warm to cold…the temps were not up to food standards…and I don’t ever send my food back..great place but please check your temps . Then I will give u 5 stars.”

“Better than you would expect for a small town. We have eaten there at least twice a month for the last five years and have never been disappointed. Alfredo and Spaghetti are on point, meat balls are delicious. Local secret: best pizza in town with handmade dough!”

“We visited Gatesville to view the eclipse. El Tapatio was recommended by one of the local city workers, and it became our go to restaurant in town. We've never had Texas Charro beans anywhere near that good, and after being home one day we are lamenting that we will have return there to see their like again. Don't get us wrong, they are more than a bean soup shop. Everything we ordered was way better than we expected, down to the ability to perfectly baste the eggs over my Huevos Rancheros. Great food, service, and very reasonable prices.”
