Great food for an amazing price with Shiner beer on tap. We were just looking for a quick BBQ date while in Gatesville and came across this gem! The service was wonderful and we look forward to coming back for the live music too!

I have seen some of the negative comments and if you had a bad experience, then I would say, ive seen Texas Roadhouse and many of the big chains, have bad days. I visited Barebones today and had the ribs and sausage.and it was very good. Moist not to much smoke just the way Texas BBQ should be,and I live in BBQ country. Give it a try, I'm sure your have a good experience just like all the others enjoying their meal today
