“The spicy chicken burger was ok, I've honestly never had a burger that had the patty cooked in "wing sauce". It was different. The steak fingers maybe could've been battered better or cooked longer? The breading was falling off. Fried pickles, fries, grill cheese and burger were perfect. Staff was very friendly and kind, food was affordable and good and didn't have to wait long to get our order. Under $25 for 4 complete meals!!! ?”

“This was our first time to eat here. The food was absolutely delicious. James had the chicken fried steak with coleslaw and macaroni & cheese. I had the fried catfish with a baked potato. The food is very fresh and homemade.Service was excellent ? Our waitress made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere has a small town vibe. The Diner appears to have its regular customers as well as newcomers. We will definitely be coming back to eat here again. ?”

“We drove by and had to stop at this little cafe. This is where the locals are going. We've been for both breakfast and lunch. It definitely has a small town cafe feel. The food is terrific! The carne guisada is tender and flavorful. I loved the veggie omelette for breakfast! The staff is friendly and one nice lady talked with us and gave us suggestions for family activities in the surrounding areas. We will definitely go back!”

“Holy smokes! I’ve lived in Temple for 7 years and this is the best restaurant I’ve been to just a quick drive north. Awesome place, everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable about the entire menu. I had the Tri-tip sandwich with the soup of the day and could eat it everyday for the rest of time. We will be back as soon as I’m hungry again!”

“Beautiful scenery. Out of the way and quite place. Great selection of wine from in house and a few locally sourced. The live music is always fantastic, especially the gentleman Wade. Wish we could still bring our dogs but the ones in the house are cute to play with. Prices seem a little high but do not visit a lot of winery's. Would recommend for a stop of the trail.”

“Wheelchair accessibility: It is accessible by wheel chair. It isn't very convenient though, because the bar is basically divided into two sections.You can access both sections via wheelchair, but only from the outside. There is no ramp accessible inside.”

“The only reason I gave such a low review of the service is because the place was packed and there was only one bartender. We had to bus our own table and go to the bar to get our drinks. If they just had a couple of wait staff on the floor for big events this place would be a 10/10. The people are so very nice and polite, and the atmosphere is electric.”

“Took my brother in law here since he is from out of state and I wanted him to have some BBQ while he was here. Now I have to admit, Coaches wasn't my first or second choice, in fact I almost never come to Coaches because previously the food had been mid at best. But... We came in and boy were we surprised. The food was great! The service was friendly and the place was clean. Let me tell you bout this grub.The Ribs were on point, fatty, flavorful, fall off the bone and seasoned perfectly with their dry rub. I am very picky with ribs and these were hittin on all cylinders.The smoked turkey was moist, flavorful and fell apart in the mouth.The Brisket was my only complaint. While the flavor was there, it was dry and the texture wasn't fall apart. Bark was good but I would highly suggest letting the brisket rest in tallow from the trimmings to keep it moist.Mac N Cheese was good, needed a little salt and pepper but other than that it was good and an easy fix.Campfire beans.. Boi lemme tell you somethin, I am picky with beans... Really picky... So much in fact that I started making my own beans due to receiving cold canned beans at another BBQ spot (Looking at you Uncle Dan's, too focused on them massages I see.) I have high expectations for BBQ beans... These campfire beans were on point.. If they were canned then they fooled me and I'll take it.Overall I had a 9/10 experience the last time I came in and from what I hear from co-workers, Coaches has stepped up quite a bit lately and I hope that continues to be true on my next visit because I would love to have to not travel for good BBQ. A huge shout out to the staff that was on shift when I was in. Whatever changes y'all made is workin, just show that brisket a little more love.”
