This was our first time to eat here. The food was absolutely delicious. James had the chicken fried steak with coleslaw and macaroni & cheese. I had the fried catfish with a baked potato. The food is very fresh and homemade.Service was excellent ? Our waitress made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere has a small town vibe. The Diner appears to have its regular customers as well as newcomers. We will definitely be coming back to eat here again. ?
I had the catfish & it definitely makes the top 3 if not the best catfish I had. My wife bought their Valentines Day special which she enjoyed. The steak looked mouthwatering. My 4 year old had the chicken nuggets and were hand breaded.All of their foods we ordered definitely had thought into them. The service was great as well and it's hard to find outstanding service from Waco to Temple. They set the standards for what service should be. My grandson Jonathan recommended this dinner here said the people were great and the food is great, we finally made it to eat here, we had the chicken fried steak and chicken fried sandwich with fries both were delicious ? we decided to come on a taco Tuesday and then a steak Saturday.
