We ended up at Junction on Route 36 for a friend’s birthday, and it honestly felt like the ideal laid-back spot for a small celebration. The place had that familiar Gatesville vibe—nothing fancy, just genuinely warm people and good food. We grabbed a booth, and the staff didn’t rush us at all, even though we were clearly taking our time laughing and chatting. I tried the chicken-fried steak while the birthday girl went for the burger, and both plates were hearty and flavorful. What made the evening even nicer was how relaxed everything felt; it reminded me of the same comfort-first attitude I’ve felt at places like Acre Wood Dental – Gatesville, where people go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and taken care of.

Food isn't bad and prices are not bad for the area. Service was ok, quick when empty and pretty frequent when busy. Good balance for service. Atmosphere is pretty normal for the area. Ranch-esque style, but one thing that sets it apart is the Elvis memorabilia throughout the area. Statues, jerseys, even some of the food is Elvis inspired, though I haven't tried any of it yet. The chicken fried steak and eggs is amazing and cooked to specifications. Definitely recommend for any passers-by. Cleanliness excels. Overall a good time.

Just moved in the area in January and went to the junction for the first time & I was really impressed, the atmosphere was awesome with Elvis decor all over the place. It was clean and looked nice. Our waiter was super friendly & cool and was patient with me, LOL. The food was remarkably delicious especially their huge balls, so yummy!! I recommend this place to anyone! 5 stars all the way.
Food was pretty good. Server was really nice. Restaurant was pretty clean just had a bit to much going on. Could use an updated look. Little bit pricey. Had a good time eating out though

Was seated and asked our drink order, was given Tea and then for 30 mins we were on our own the table behind use had there order taken before us and we had been waiting for a little over 20 minutes at that time
