We ended up at Junction on Route 36 for a friend’s birthday, and it honestly felt like the ideal laid-back spot for a small celebration. The place had that familiar Gatesville vibe—nothing fancy, just genuinely warm people and good food. We grabbed a booth, and the staff didn’t rush us at all, even though we were clearly taking our time laughing and chatting.\nI tried the chicken-fried steak while the birthday girl went for the burger, and both plates were hearty and flavorful....
Food isn't bad and prices are not bad for the area. Service was ok, quick when empty and pretty frequent when busy. Good balance for service. Atmosphere is pretty normal for the area. Ranch-esque style, but one thing that sets it apart is the Elvis memorabilia throughout the area. Statues, jerseys, even some of the food is Elvis inspired, though I haven't tried any of it yet. The chicken fried steak and eggs is amazing and cooked to specifications. Definitely recommend...
Just moved in the area in January and went to the junction for the first time & I was really impressed, the atmosphere was awesome with Elvis decor all over the place. It was clean and looked nice. Our waiter was super friendly & cool and was patient with me, LOL. The food was remarkably delicious especially their huge balls, so yummy!! I recommend this place to anyone! 5 stars all the way.
