First of all our little server was very sweet but she did not know her menu. I ordered a prima salad with bleu cheese. She thought it came with chicken so I didn’t get my salad before the meal. We ordered a ribeye with the mushrooms to split. We asked about sides and were told the steak came with a salad and baked potato or broccoli. The baked potato was awful AND we were charged $5 for it. Get used to this when you eat here!!!

My gosh!!! Delicious fresh Italian food!! I have traveled around the world and I always look to eat at local family owned restaurants so I can get a great taste of the original recipes, so it came to my surprise to find this hidden gem at Gatesville, Texas... Who would've thought!!?

Prima pasta is the only Italian food place in Gatesville. Loved by locals. Right next to a motel. The Italian pasta and baked dishes and bread are delicious on multiple visits over the years. Nice dining room. Service is great. Takeout orders are ready on time, correct and complete. The one time we tried their Buffalo chicken pizza, it was drenched in vinegary liquidy hot sauce and inedible, ending up on the trash (we usually love buffalo chicken pizza).
