I can't imagine a store more hospitable, helpful or generous. We were in search of some sweets and the kind owner baked us cowboy cookies at our request, which I have to highly recommend to anyone passing through. What we ended up getting when we arrived was the feeling of being home in the kitchen surrounded by family, although not even ours. We really enjoyed our visit to 4C Market and Brew Barn! Family friendly location. The owners let you "mingle" with their horses, cows, chickens that provide great products! You can purchase their processed beef and pork products along with various other offerings like boudin and home goods like salsa, jams, baked goods, gifts, etc. Their kitchen has a weekly menu that is posted on their Facebook page. I started this Boondockers journey a year ago. I have been many places.. I am going to try to explain in a few words how amazing this place is, without it turning into a long-winded speech... Farm to table food, craft beer that puts the west coast craft beer scene to shame, funny down to earth hosts that can melt your heart with their hospitality. Thank you Vern and Melissa, your home is magical the food is divine, and we will always come back to this place when we come through.
