The filet and Rib Eye were great. The Idaho potato was good as well but not delivered as ordered. There were 2 other tables being served but we had to ask for a 2nd glass of wine. It arrived as a half a pour and when we mentioned it they said the bottle was empty. They did open another and finished the pour appropriately. Had to leave the table a 2nd time to get a to go box. Great steaks just short on the rest.

Best steak I have had in a while. They need to dust but other than that it was clean and enjoyable. If I wasn’t severely allergic to dust it would have had zero impact on my dining experience. Highly recommend if you’re near to stop in. We stopped here on our way back from Choke Canyon to Corpus Christi but I would make the drive just to enjoy another mesquite cooked steak!

The tables for our group of twelve, were ready for us by the time we arrived. The waitress was quick to bring menus and bring our drinks. Our food arrived in a timely manner. The food was delicious and portions were a hearty size. Everyone in the group agreed that they would be returning another day.

I was disappointed! I asked for fried pickles and fried mushrooms I asked if I could receive an order half and half, I received a total of 4 fried mushrooms and a few fried pickles and I found out I was charged 10.99 plus tax for this .

Great food. My son's reaction to his food...OMG this is so good. If you have not stopped on your way through town you need to. Bring an appetite because plates are well served.
I ordered the porterhouse that was on special that day medium rare to get a seared steak blue on the inside , I asked for it to be put back on a little longer to receive a completely different cut of meat WELL DONE ?!? , I wasn't gonna play musical steaks and just ate it , at closeout I received a strawberry cheesecake free that wasnt bad , overall to have a steak on special with 2 trys and still not receive what i wanted was very unfortunate, id re think whoever is in the kitchen , I could cook a better steak myself blindfolded , sorry guys i wont be returning

Aweful! Had to cook my filet 3 times and then when it was cooked right it was all vein! Terrible cut of meat! Screwed up all our orders, missed orders, waited way too long for food, screwed up the checks. Will never come
Only two other tables had people at them when we walked in. Two people each. We were a party of three. We were seated, given menus and sat for 8 minutes!! No service!! There were at least 4 wait staff/ staff visiting and sitting at the front.Then they were surprised when we got up and left!!

I was in George West for work with a coworker. We were told to eat at GW Steakhouse.Wasn’t really in the mood for steak so I ordered the chicken fried chicken. It was fork tender but the gravy was cream of chicken soup. Not the white gravy one would expect.My partner ordered the chicken fettuccine. Our very friendly server said it was homemade and one of her favorite dishes. My partner said it had a funny taste. I tried it and it tasted like it was made with curdled milk with extra extra garlic.We may try it again if we’re thru this way. Maybe it was just an off day.
