“I really don't know where to start. I ordered a Large Pepperoni and the pizza started falling apart. I also ordered a large ham and cheese sub and my cheese was nowhere to be found. Even if it's melted you can see it. You can do a special on a bucket of beer but not a pizza!!”

“Menudo, hands down the best I've had in awhile. A mouthful of authentic flavor in every bite. Nice ratio of tripe and hominy. The garnishes of cilantro, onion, lemon and chili flakes add onto the overall flavor. Very pleased!!”

“We live close to Portland, and travel to San Antonio several times a week. I like to stop here to get tacos, which are always delicious, I ordered what turned out to be the best molleja taco I've had so far. Staff are great, never negative.”

I got here specifically for the chilly cheese coney, but their hot dogs are hard n just don't sit right any more. Not sure if it's just old, different brand or what, but like to see that looked into.”

Visited on 3/28/26. The restaurant was very clean, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The wait time was about 7 minutes, which was reasonable. The fries could have used a bit more salt, but that’s an easy fix since you can season them to your own taste.

What really makes this place stand out is the convenient truck/RV parking located in the back, which is a big plus for travelers. @memerios1020”

“We came in about 40 mins to close. The place was not super busy, but there was only one waitress. She told us to sit anywhere. The table we chose was near the back. It was clean as was the restaurant. We didn't have to wait to long for a menu. The waitress took our drink order and assisted two other tables as well. We ordered a chicken fried steak to split and mashed potatoes. The tea was perfect and our order came very quickly. The chicken fried steak was quite large and the potatoes looked fantastic as well. The breading was crispy and not greasy at all and the meat was tender and well seasoned. The mashed potatoes were thick and had a great taste. Over all the dinner was great cape to a long day of driving.
Despite being close to closing and being the only waitress, the young woman took care of everything, quickly and without an attitude.
This will be our go to restaurant in the future when we are back in the area.”

“I came in on 04/28 after a long 90+ degree day working in the sun. I was suffering from severe heat exhaustion and one of the workers brought me a bag of ice, offered ibuprofen and aspirin and checked up on me regularly to make sure I was okay. I've never seen anyone go so far above and beyond their job description out of human kindness. I don't recall her name because I was so ill at the time but I hope she receives a commendation.”

“The restaurant was very clean and the decor was beautiful with wooden tables. I ordered the chopped brisket sandwich and although it had a very good flavor, I felt it was a little too greasy for my taste. Overall, a good dining experience.”
