Katie made my wedding and groom's cake as well as making hand pies and macarons for the wedding. All the desserts were absolutely beautiful and so delicious there was hardly anything left after! I barely was able to snag a macaron especially. Cakes and desserts were delivered on time and Katie was always responsive and easy to communicate with, and was super flexible to make adjustments. Thank you so much for helping to make my wedding a success!

Beware!! She doesn’t show up with the cake. I’m hoping to save a bride a devasting mistake since she does weddings! Unfortunately I can’t recommend Katie. We paid her to make my sons 3rd birthday cake months before his party. We were supposed to pick up the cake the day before and then she kept pushing for us to have her drop the cake off to us the morning of! I thought it was weird but I was under the impression the cake was already made and I thought having it dropped off was great because I had a newborn baby, and saved me some time. Well the morning of the party I texted her to make sure she’d arrive on time (after not hearing from her at all on a time) and she responded saying she couldn’t make it. I was super upset because it was less than 2 hours before the party started. If the cake wasn’t even ever made (with no intention on making it) she could have at least let us know the day before so we could have found another cake with more notice rather than scrambling to find a cake for a 3 year old with less than 2 hours notice, while decorating and 6 weeks postpartum.what really got me was when i voiced how upset I was her response was “it’s literally just a cake” um…. Isn’t that your job? Clearly she doesn’t care about what she does. And for us it wasn’t “just a cake” my son is a type one diabetic and gets to eat cake pretty much once a year. All he was talking about was the cake, and he even picked out the inspiration picture on Pinterest himself. It was devastating for a child who doesn’t get this type of treat often. After talking with others about this experience, I’ve heard she’s done the same thing to others!The lack of empathy and professionalism was shocking. Apparently if you don’t care much about the cake you’re ordering, she’s the cake baker for you!

If you want to be without a cake on a birthday definitely hire baked by Katie! My sons 3rd birthday we were left scrambling to find a cake with less than 2 hours notice. I get things happen but the cake was supposed to be dropped off the day before the party and she said she couldn’t. Then didn’t show up the morning of. While I’m sure she makes beautiful cakes I definitely don’t recommend her based on not showing up and then saying “it’s literally just a cake” when I voiced how upset I was.
