A short wait, but friendly and efficient service. Hushpuppies and jalapeño tartar sauce almost worth the 35 minute drive, very good. Catfish fillets nice size, breading was thick (added flour with the cornmeal) caused filets to be oily and bland. Slaw was good, not as pungent as in the past. Pinto beans good, green beans mushy. $15 for the light plate, but 3 good size fillets. Very good server.

Fried shrimp is good!

Generally good food for lunch. Sometimes the steamed vegetables are overcooked and have a mushy texture. Otherwise fair.

Got there before 3pm and got unlimited salad and sides. The fried oysters and catfish was really good then I topped it off with some awesome blackberry cobbler. I will be back.

Be careful when saying yes to certain options for your meal - they make it seem like it’s included but it’s not and the server will not tell you. You have to pay extra 3-5 bucks for those. Server even said wrong prices for certain add ons… smh. Review your check before paying because our table had so many wrong charges. I didn’t feel the mandatory tip was deserved.

This is the largest catfish plate available and it’s disappointing.

Reply: This is what is promoted compared to what I received. In addition I didn’t receive my french fries.

Not my favorite atmosphere but the food was solid. We got the Catfish and it was breaded very well, perfectly seasoned.
There is a bar, salad bar, and family friendly.

We love Catfish Parlor and have been customers.since the original in Austin. BUT, tonight the sides were lukewarm instead of hot. Fish was tasty, as was the coleslaw. Manager wasn't there & some of the young staff were enjoying whatever on the cellphones. Server, Sky, was excellent. We still love you CP! Don't let us down, plz.

I was very skeptical for a couple years, but then I finally decided to come get some catfish. And y’all it was good. I don’t like the hush puppies but everything else was good and good quality. The restaurant is nice and cozy and different and the servers are nice. I definitely will be back.
