We love Catfish Parlor and have been customers.since the original in Austin. BUT, tonight the sides were lukewarm instead of hot. Fish was tasty, as was the coleslaw. Manager wasn't there & some of the young staff were enjoying whatever on the cellphones. Server, Sky, was excellent. We still love you CP! Don't let us down, plz.

I was very skeptical for a couple years, but then I finally decided to come get some catfish. And y’all it was good. I don’t like the hush puppies but everything else was good and good quality. The restaurant is nice and cozy and different and the servers are nice. I definitely will be back.

I have been eating at Catfish Parlor ever since they opened on 183 in Austin. The catfish will always be their specialty and it is definitely delicious. For some unknown reason, when I was there last Thursday, I ordered the chicken fried steak. The flavor was o.k. but the breading was terrible. It kept crumbling up in little balls and was overcooked. I did try one of my Grandson's jumbo shrimp and it was delicious.
