just so you know, the Black Sugar Galaxy has NO Caffeine in it at all. The "croissants"are irregular in shape, more tart like but made in-house. A smaller size, smooth and textured so so well that they make a delicate and savoury taste. The price for this delight is very reasonable. 9.9 out of ten.

We went on 4/6 @ 11:45am and the two ladies behind the counter were so rude. They didn't say hi, we smiled and mentioned how cold it was inside and laughed. The lady at the register looked at us and with a sassy tone, " what would you like" , I asked her to give us just a few minutes to decide. She all but rolled her eyes and turned away to go continue her conversation with her coworker. It was then we decided to not give our $ to this business and go somewhere else on the square.

I don't really have much to say about this place. Coffee tastes bad. Tables are constantly dirty. Went in to the karaoke night on Friday and saw one barista working by herself and what I assume was her manager standing at the front, drinking beer, and using profanity. Also I know quite a bit about food service code, and since this place serves food I believe you have to tie up your hair if it is a certain length, which I did not see anyone do, except the one barista behind the counter. GROSS! Dirty glasses and dirty plates. To anyone reading this: try 309 coffee down the road.

Wonderful service and awesome environment! I wanted to like it more, but unfortunately, my friend’s chocolate gluten free muffin was incredibly mushy and the lavender latte was too sweet. The drip dark roast I ordered was a little too bitter—great place but could use a little boost on the food.

Coffee was terrible. I ordered a spinach feta pastry that was burnt. The lady brought it to me and said sorry it's burnt. No offers to bring something else. Overpriced coffee and food.

The sugar free iced coffees were so bad that my husband and I threw them away after about three sips. Maybe their other things are better but don’t go here for that.

I asked for a latte with non-dairy milk and was given one with milk but didn't realize. I had incredibly painful stomach cramps the rest of the day.

Service was decent even though the barista was very BLAH! Pretty sure he didn't want to be here but he does a damn good job making coffees! And he is fast! Lattes are fresh and Hot! the cheese danish was OMG delicious! Soft and creamy! The Texas MUD was yummy and cinnamony! Right on the money! Cool place to hang out and work. Nice place to visit with my son! Definitely will be back...

Plenty of area to sit and chat, I do enjoy the aesthetic of the shop and the location! Good coffee and croissant foods. Floors/seats by the front are pretty dusty/dirty, and the wifi is not very reliable.

I forgot what poor coffee they have here- think McDonald's. My latte tasted like crummy coffee with a splash of milk. The breakfast was very good- we had a danish, kolache and burrito.Employees were talking amongst themselves about personal stuff and kept stopping their work to chat, while we were ordering, so we had a long wait at the register, which was irritating. Also they forgot about our food so we had to go back up and ask before they started working on it. Nice atmosphere - if you don't want coffee or good customer service this could be the place for you.

Went in to grab a beer and listen to karaoke on a Friday night. Not really busy, we sat at the end of the bar. The guy behind the counter ignored us and kept talking to a girl standing up there. Another employee was putting up dishes and ignored us for about 5 minutes. She finally came up to us after I'm assuming the look on my face was exasperated. She then said "are you ready to order?" We said "yes" she then said "okay the register is right there" then turned around and walked off. We were shocked. So I went and got our beers only to find small shards of glass in mine (we got 2 draft beers). Super upsetting. The only good thing is that the beer was cheap. Oh and the glass wear hanging up was filthy. Picture added. Check your drinks!

Working from here on a weekly basis has been a great experience thanks to Joe and the staff.

Okay, I've been to a Black Sugar Caffe in the past; however, this one here had real chill-like vibes. The barista behind the counter was super nice, and they explained the different flavors of drinks. I appreciated that as they had some specialty coffee. I tried it, and it was delicious.

I don’t usually review places but WOW. I come here maybe once every month or two for or three years now. I noticed over the past couple months things have been changing. The employees are nicer. The drinks taste better. I didn’t know why until a few days ago when I met Caroline. From when I walked up to the register she was just the nicest. She asked me a few questions and made a recommendation. While she was making my drink she talked to me the whole time asking about my day and my job. I asked her when she started working here because I haven’t seen her before. She told me she was the new manager for a few months. Mystery solved! I told her I noticed the changes and she said thanks and that she was trying really hard. I told her I could tell. The latte she made me was really good even though it wasn’t something I would normally get. Support local business in Cedar Park and go here!
