Probably unfair, but marked down for beer choices. There are 8 beers on draft. There's a lot of craft beer places around GTX and ATX that they could add. Even Florence Beer Market has better beer options. But bar food and specialty fries are always a good add.
We had a fundraiser at Mel's Bowling and spilled over into CJs for the silent auction. Great place, great food, great service and fantastic people. Absolute blast. We will do this again in the future.
Overpriced draft beer $6-$7-maybe $8. Nice sports bar with good service, good food, but dull atmosphere in Mel's bowling. Mel's is poppin'. The bar, not so much. Perhaps it'll be better during NFL season. Definitely need cheaper drafts regardless.
