The staff was very warm and welcoming. We had the fish and chips and the salmon with the mashed potatoes and spinach. The food came out hot and fresh. Very important to me. Portions were nice.

Very slow service. You were out of Josh wine and had discontinued Kendall Jackson. Took a very long time to take our order and even longer to get the bill. The food was great. Maybe you were short handed, but the whole experience seemed different.

Service and food was good. The temperature was brutally cold. Could not understand the temperature being that cold versus the outside temps. Hard to enjoy the food being that uncomfortable.

A surprising gem: inspired decor, fresh seafood, generous servings, great prices, amazing service: we will definitely be back.

The Mediterranean sea bass was outstanding. Some of the best fish I have ever had. Jen, our server was very attentive and kept us in the know about our order.

Outstanding little restaurant with an extremely varied menu. Everything is delicious. The margaritas are top-notch, too. The entire staff goes out of their way to make you comfortable and welcome. We'll be back!

Where can I start my wife and I came here sometime last month in October on a Friday because I am off on Friday's and we walked in and gave it a try for our very first time. We both had one of the most expensive plates it was one of the seasoned fish plates that was like 29.99 or so. It was pretty good better than I expected it to be!! JG was our server he had his initials on his chain on his neck he was cool he said he has been there for 11yrs or 12yrs I believe. He was really good at explaining to us what he think we would like based on what we told him we wanted. It's a step under Papadeaux's but it's a cheaper price than you would pay there so it makes since. To me it's a good alternative if you don't feel like paying the Papadeaux's price range. I would definitely come back, they had some good happy hour options too.

First time dining at Fish City Grill and we sat at the bar—service was outstanding thanks to Kooge, and the food was amazing. We enjoyed the Gulf Shrimp dinner with fries and Blackened Rainbow Trout. We will definitely be back!

Our last visit was their 30th anniversary. Hardly any restaurants last that long anymore - a testament to their quality.

I was looking for Salmon dish in Georgetown. I found Fish city. I ordered the Salmond and was surprised. Very good seasoning (capers) the spinach was very good too.
It seems that this restaurant has been in business many years.

The food is always delicious and the staff is great! The host Adam greeted us by name and had a booth waiting for us! Our waitress Ashley had great recommendations and even looked up the ingredients for a cocktail I requested. Highly recommended this place!

Was blessed to have them honor us veterans on 11/11/2025, and thankful to OpenTable, because without reservations the wait was 45min. We were seated quickly and Steph ( great waiter/server) welcomed us, got our teas, told us what he likes and would recommend, and gave us time to think. The Grilled Texas Redfish with shrimp was excellent, and my gal loved her normal order of fish and chips. We also had the FCG Sampler as an appetizer and it was great as well. What I appreciate was that they didn't use tooo much oil in any of the items and make it to rich, and even as busy as they were, it only took a few minutes to get the entree's and they were fresh. Just an excellent overall visit; I'm not a fan of their men's restroom ( it has one stall and a sink; that's it ) , but maybe that's me. But Steph was an excellent server and even busy the atmosphere was pretty great, and the food was awesome. Thanx again FCG for blessing and honoring us veterans; now offer a 10-20% all the time and I can afford to come more...ha ha Semper Fi and God bless, Marty

Best seafood I have had. Everything is fresh and well prepared by Chef B and his staff. All the servers are friendly and attentive. This place also has its own exclusive oysters, Mystic Mermaids. Every time we have been here, it's like being with family. I highly recommend any of the billboard specials that change frequently.
