Our food was all very meh - no flavor, no spice and burnt chicken all around. The batter for the chicken tenders had zero seasoning and there was no seasoning on my eggs. My husband commented that Dairy Queen makes better chicken tenders and gravy. My husband got the truffle Mac & cheese and it was really dry - too dry for him to eat. The only part about my meal that had any flavor was the maple grits - and they were just sweet.
We also had to wait way too long for our meal…longer than most of the other patrons around us. And by the time the food got to us, my eggs were ice cold, as was everything else on my plate.
It was a very underwhelming experience and definitely not worth the $40 tab. We won’t be returning.

The Wagyu Patty Melt was the best one I ever had!! It wasn't on the regular menu, so I had to ask for it! I saw it on their website since this was my first time going there. It's definitely worth asking for!!! I'll definitely be going back, too!

Had to ask for missing sides. 1 of the 4 drinks took literally an extra 20-30 minutes for no reason. Food took forever with many open tables. Great location, surprised mismanagement hasn’t taken this place down yet, can’t be long I’m sure.

Goodfolks in Georgetown does not disappoint. The Chicken tenders are breaded properly, tender, juicy, and fresh. The Honey Sriracha Brussel Sprouts are to die for. We always get an extra order to take home. We went to dinner Tuesday night and our server Noah was amazing. He was attentive, polite, and made us feel as if we were the only patrons in the house. We spoke with the manager Stephen to give Noah a pat on the back and Stephen was also all about the customer. Great job Goodfolks, we will be back soon. I just need to add that we returned to Goodfolks for my birthday celebration and Tabitha was our server. Tabitha was warm, friendly, professional, and a genuinely a nice human being. She was super attentive and always had a smile on her face. What a delight. As always the food was delicious, hot, and thoughfully prepared but I needed to give a special shout out to Tabitha. Goodfolks knows how to pick employees. Thank you.

I hardly ever provide a bad review but this one I believe is required because there is a lot of potential and way too many things went on. We had a family gathering and I wanted to take them to a southern food place, to enjoy something more traditional of the area.
The food was bad for every single person. All plates were left at least half full. The chicken was dry, fried seemed overcooked (dark due to old oil), biscuits were not fresh but quite old, the salmon mixed with corn and pico de gallo was honestly hard to eat ... the flavors didn't collaborate at all.
The service was OK but a bit absent, no checking on us and had to actually ask to get napkins even though we had our appetizers deliverer for a while. Asides from that our server seemed genuinely trying but not quite hitting the mark to leave a remarkable impression.
With regards to the building / location. Great one and very nicely renovated ... except one single toilet for each male/female restrooms was quite inconvenient. To top that, I had to wait like 10 minutes because someone from the kitchen was actually using it ... so quite surprised that there isn't one available for the people that work there, especially considering the size of the restaurant. A major problem was the room temperature, which was so low that we were freezing, so some of us ordered coffee in order to warm up.
I truly wish that the owner can take action on the menu as top priority because this was flat out the worst southern food experience I've had in the last 5+ years in the area.
