Let me start off by saying I have been a huge fan of kilwins for over a decade. After moving to Texas I was so excited to find out that there was a Kilwins near me. We’ve had many pleasant experiences at the Georgetown location except for the past 3 times. The past three times, the flavor we haven’t wanted was nearly empty. Instead of opening a new one, they’ve scraped the bottom of the barrel which lacked all the flavor and fillings. I get they have to finish the bucket but it should be replaced when it gets that low. Today, same thing, the flavor was nearly empty so my husband ended up choosing a different flavor so he’d be able to get an adequate scoop. Unfortunately, they only put one small scoop in the waffle cone, this isn’t typical of their servings. He had to eat at least two inches of cone before even getting to any icecream. I also noticed the same thing happened to another customer, more than a half empty cone. It’s really disappointing since we’ve been such fans and recommenders of kilwins and drive over 30 mins just to get their icecream. Talk about shrinkflation :(

If you’re in downtown Georgetown and craving something sweet, this little ice cream and chocolate shop on the Square is an absolute must.

The place has that perfect local vibe — cozy, welcoming, and full of treats that make you feel like a kid again. The assortment of ice cream and sweets is fantastic, and the quality is top notch across the board.

My personal favorites so far? The house-made gummy bears (hands down the best I’ve ever had) and the fudge — unbelievably good! You can tell everything is made with care and real ingredients.

On top of all that, the staff is always so friendly and patient while you browse and try to make the impossible decision of choosing just one treat. Spoiler: you won’t. You’ll leave with a bag full. 😄

Highly recommend — this is one of those hometown gems you’ll keep coming back to!

Just smelling this place as we passed to go to dinner, I knew we would be back for a visit. We stopped back and had ice cream. It was flavorful and delicious.

Really disappointed. I bought my daughter an ice cream tonight. After paying for it I realized it was $21 for 1 ice cream bowl. The kid working ended up charging me double. He said he did not know how to give a refund and the person that does know was not there. I ended having to deal with paying double and no refund. Really expensive ice cream!

We just left your store, unserved. We patiently waited in line. 2 large groups came in after us and got waited on before us. Even before the family in front of us.
My husband loudly said something. He was ignored. 😳
You need to set up a take a number system. Simple logistics.
Tried to post this on the website, kept getting error msg.
Won't be back.

My partner and sister are ice cream aficionados- and they tell me Kilwins ice cream is up there in the top 3 or 4. Personally - I love their hand crafted chocolates and the smell when you walk into the shop! Heavenly!!

Good spot on the square for ice-cream, especially when walking around on a hot summer day. Polite service. Although most of their flavors are far too sweet for my liking, I enjoyed the Berry Chocolate icecream.

We absolutely love the Kilwins Georgetown store! We use them for specialty chocolate treats, especially for hard to find items. Their seasonal candies are always amazing and we can't leave without a candy apple. The store will often have seasonal specials and features for kids, like the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus. Most of all, my kids love to get their ice cream treats and will often ask to 'earn them' through extra chores. The ice cream cakes are large and delicious, as well. I highly recommend this location for all your locally owned and delicious chocolate needs!

I always make it a point to stop at Kilwins at the Square in Georgetown. Not only is their staff excellent, I really love the way that they make it a point to hire people of disabilities and work with them to make them better employees and help them enjoy life. AND the sweets are wonderful!

Cut little sweets shop in Georgetown square. Good chocolates and ice cream.

Their nutcracker caramel corn is the best! Bit pricey but it’s worth it as a special treat.

I and a friend walked in while in town, it was the weekend of Georgetown Swirl, which we were not part of. We went in to purchase items off the shelve. There was an employee offering free samples, but only to those that were participating in the 'Swirl'. I bought the item that I wanted to purchase, but was not offered the free sample - the employees response was that it was only for those that purchased the tickets.

Disappointing experience compared to the other Kilwins locations I have been to. They didn’t have any white sea salt caramel fudge and the two people working were not very friendly. The ice cream was good.
