2nd best place for hot chocolate made of real chocolate (not the powdered stuff)!! Bought toffee bars I’m sure I’ll love.
1st is a spot in nyc haha which is too far for me now. Thank you!!

Very good ice cream, albeit a little expensive, but good things come in small packages.

This is officially my new favorite ice cream spot. I’m OBSESSED with their turtle cheesecake ice cream and their chocolate and fudge was amazing too. They have the best staff, ESPECIALLY Daniel and Logan who went above and beyond and were so kind and helpful with our countless questions and requests 😂 Kilwins is the best!

Kilwins at 120 W. 8th st. Georgetown Tx suite 101. I had 3 10lb bars of chocolate shipped to my address from this Georgetown location. A milk chocolate, white chocolate and dark chocolate. Neither 10lb bar had an expiration date on it. I opened the milk Choc. bar melted it and it took a day and 1/2 to get semi hard. It also has a cloudy film when it semi set up. I did not like the soft consistency at all. I never had chocolate to do this. When I notified the manager at this Kilwins in Georgetown and requested my money back on the other two unopened bars she refused to refund my money back on the unopened bars. These bars are $89.99 ea. Plus tax plus shipping cost. They are old and cannot meet my need. I demand a refund!
Twice I’ve gone out of my way to come here. Both times the store closed early. I stared at the two employees and they didn’t open the door. If you don’t remain open until 10, state it on your hours.
I want my gas paid to drive here. Who is compensating me?

Used to love this place but they are now price gouging the heck out of their customers. Cutting sizes in half AND upping the prices by $2 each is ridiculous
We visited this location on a Thursday afternoon for some chocolates..we purchased toffee and some chocolate covered caramel! The experience was great - the store was very clean, the staff was very pleasant and helpful and the presentation of all the chocolates and fudge were beautiful! The visit was a pleasant one and the chocolates were delicious will be back before our visit is done here in Georgetown - definitely a perfect place and location for some chocolates and ice cream!

My sister and I came by today and got two caramel apples. When we came home the apples were mushy and old tasting. We’ve never had that experience with caramel apples before, but they were inedible. No one will answer the phone when we called to let them know the apples were stale.

I went in for fudge, but didn't get any because the cases were open and flies were literally flying and landing on the fudge. When I pointed that out to the cashier, he just said "oh", and didn't even discard the contaminated pieces. I ordered ice cream instead since that's in an enclosed case. Big mistake. I had to repeat my order 4 or 5 times because the other cashier looked at me like I was speaking gibberish when I ordered 2 small chocolate cake cones, 1 small fudge brownie cake cone, and a small raspberry sorbetto cake cone. Everything was already melting and by the time I got to my car (which was parked right by the door), everything was at least 60% melted and a huge mess. I get it's Texas in the summer, but it shouldn't have been so melted that all of the ice cream fell out of one of the cones in less than 3 minutes. There was also a piece of foreign material in the sorbetto that I had to get out of my mouth mid-bite. I spent over $20 on 4 cones, inedible ice cream, and a hot mess. I was excited to try this place, especially because I love fudge, but I won't be going back ever. The cashiers weren't friendly, and the experience was less than stellar. A serious disappointment.

So many delicious choices! The peach, brandy cherry, chocolate peanut butter, and chocolate coconut ice cream were so good. Huge chocolate selections.

**Kilwin’s Management “requested” update: they did provide me a full refund after they called me back a day or two (maybe 3, I don’t honestly remember) later, when I asked for the refund instead of store credit. Apparently, the staff on duty when I visited failed to turn on the door fans, which are the primary prevention of letting flies inside the building. No excuse was given for the poor customer service though. While I appreciate the refund, I don’t appreciate being told to update my review because the refund in no way negates the negative experience I had, nor does it negate the poor service or unsanitary conditions of the store itself.** I went in for fudge, but didn't get any because the cases were open and flies were literally flying and landing on the fudge.
