Made the executive decision to go local instead of “big chain” for my coffee today and was not disappointed. My hub works across the street and while running errands took his advice and gave the place a shot. That tiramisu iced latte was amazing! 5 ⭐️!

A nice coffee shop in GT square. The drinks are always hot and delicious. They’ve expanded their place so it has several tables indoors and out.

Overall I enjoy taking my family here but today I felt pretty disrespected. I think maybe a large takeout order came in right before we arrived and the baristas were a little overwhelmed. I was with my three year old and waited in line for a while and they weren't acknowledging the customers waiting to order for quite some time. They then took the order in front of me and then my order and almost immediately that fulfilled the order of the person directly in front of me within a few minutes. I was waiting there with my three year old for quite some time (those with kids know how it is!) and finally just asked if I could have my bagel so that I could go sit down as they were clearly busy making a very large order that wasn't mine. The female barista was clearly very annoyed at me asking her to just grab a simple bagel that I had paid for so that we could go sit down and wait for however long it took the coffee to be ready. I felt so disrespected as a customer there with a child and like even a small amount of communication with me would have made up for it. I understand take-out orders happen and that it can get overwhelming but there are also customers on sight in the cafe who deserve some communication and respect for spending your money there AND tipping. I don't expect special treatment because I came in with a small kid but a simple, "sorry, we are really busy with this other order, yours will just take a little bit longer than normal" would be really nice. Also, quickly grabbing a bagel for a customer who is standing right in front of you with a small kid while you make a dozen coffees for people who aren't even there seems like a completely reasonable request. I just don't think I'll go back because I feel so disrespected. I also just don't want to wait 15 minutes with a small kid for a damn bagel. Simple communication is helpful. I would have gladly left for a little bit and walked around while they fulfilled that giant order.

Slow service; perhaps because they're busy and usually have just two barristas. Good neighborhood gathering place.

This is the default destination for downtown weekend coffee. Spacious seating areas. Central location off historic Georgetown square.

Great coffee, good people, cute atmosphere. Very clean and inviting. They even have puzzles for kids too in the big room which my toddler enjoyed while we waited.

They were out of a lot of items on the menu. There was a festival going on that day though.

This place is great! We are visiting from out of town and stopped in on a Saturday morning to get a little work done and grab some coffee. Their signature Lamba Latte is amazing and uses a secret syrup recipe that is heavenly. We will definitely come back when we are in town again.

I was Temple for a visit with an old friend, and The Lampost was her suggestion. Let me tell you!! The Fall collection is something I didn’t even realize I needed in my life. Then I was introduced to their avocado toast. My, My, My, My, My! Best I have eaten. I will be back, and recommend to anyone in the area or passing through.

Male Barista wearing a tank top and long. Hair just does Not work for me. Hair was pulled back but tank top is a no go. Reaching over drinks and breakfast foods just doesn’t work.

This place is great! The coffee is so good, the space is perfect, and there’s cool art hanging up. Plus the outside seating is pleasant and isolated.
