MOD Pizza

I don't know why this place has such a poor score. My mom took me to a MOD pizza North of Houston years ago and it was great. I was hesitant to visit this location because of the poor ratings but I had a great experience when I finally did. I was released from the hospital on Christmas Eve and had to pick up my meds from HEB. My ex gave me a ride and she was hungry so we checked to see what was available. I was happy to see MODs was open so we stopped in. Being Christmas Eve they're weren't many people there but we got our pizzas quickly and cooked well. MOD pizza tastes great and despite having to work Christmas Eve the employees were friendly and helpful. I just wanted to let people know this is a great place to get a very tasty pizza. I had to update my review, I'm not sure how much a pizza costs here, I've ordered the same thing multiple times but have been charged different amounts, from a little too expensive to way more than it's worth.

Extremely slow moving service and mediocre at best pizza. Truly one of the worst pizzas I’ve had. I will say the staff are friendly at least.

Stood at the counter for 11 minutes while the 3 employees worked. They saw me waiting and just kept doing what they were doing never even acknowledging I was there to order. The said bye to patrons leaving. They never said, “ we will be with you in moment.” Just flat out ignored me. I do not complain about businesses in fact I share about great experiences and I give people the benefit of the doubt. Sadly this is my 7th time here and the 7th bad experience. I live ModPizza and I know this terrible location does not represent the brand, but this location is hurting the brand’s image. I’ll never go to this location again. Good thing Torchy’s is next door.

Maddy served us and was phenomenal! She was super accommodating to my dietary restrictions and listened to me lament while making my pizza. Their gluten free crust is really good and their ingredients were fresh. They were out of oregano, though

My son and I greatly enjoy eating at Mod pizza. The food is always delicious and fresh out of the oven. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming.

Found 2 plastic pieces in the pizza. One of the piece is really large( see the pic ). Please check before you eat especially if you have kids.

Maybe you can request the order to not include plastic.
Also I am happy that they did not charge for plastic pieces :)

I went to MOD pizza today. I liked the gentleman that greeted me. He was authentic and smart. I had a difficult time getting my bank transfer to work (bad service inside they said) The gentleman (sorry I forgot your name) had a rational solution for me which was so helpful because I can sometimes overcomplicate the simple tasks. However, my husband was having his own issues and forgot his card and was on the road. I'm someone who can solve complicated issues but can be frustrated at minor irritations. Something I'm working on... but I told them that I had to leave because I was getting all worked up (aka I blow up turn all psycho) because honestly it's embarassing!!!!! So I had to leave. I was very angry and embarrassed and didn't want to be there. The manager? Kept insisting but I said no. They FOLLOWED me to my car, saying excuse me, excuse me. I ignored them and they kept coming. I told her several times I DONT WANT THE PIZZA BUT THANK YOU I WANT TO LEAVE. She was like, no just take them or we have to throw them away. I get you're trying to be nice but PEOPLE ARE WAKING UP we can express ourselves and connect. But you need to listen. You crossed a boundary trying to save food or be nice? I get it but please respect people's boundaries if they are being nice and it isn't creating bigger issues... couldn't you have just given to the food to someone else... that would still be nice. Thank you.

I don’t know what’s up with this MOD. Others in the area are great, this one is a mess. We’ve tried 3x and every time our food is wrong. The last time we ordered 2 of the same pizza. Neither was correct nor were they the same. We gave up and stopped going here. The food tastes good if you’re up for a surprise pizza though.

If you are looking for poor experience and less than stellar food, this is your place! The employee's seem like they would rather not be there and are slower than molasses when making pizzas!
