We went for lunch on a Monday- me, my husband, four kids. The food was good, the service not much and on top of the not so good service there was an automatic 18% tip which I wouldn't mind as long as the required tip also came with required good service. We are an ethnically diverse family who don't look like their typical patrons so maybe stereotypes played into the server adding the tip at their discretion? Maybe the added tip is to discourage larger families from dining in? I can't imagine requiring families with small children (who don't have the ability to pay the bill themselves) to tip or requiring those with disabilities who might not actually eat a meal to tip. Maybe make it a requirement for parties of 6 or more who are aged 16 and up? If we went back we'd just take up three or four tables rather than one or take it to go but honestly it's not worth the trouble and I'm pretty sure they won't miss our business, they are doing splendidly. I do wish we could have experienced that great service they're known for.

Great food, fast service, and easy parking!”
Monument Café is one of my favorite spots in Georgetown. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. I also love that the parking is easy and convenient — a big plus when you’re in a hurry or visiting with family. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to!

Griffen was our waitress and she did a fabulous job and had kool fingernails! We enjoyed our food and the atmosphere was great. Nice open diner with an open kitchen. Everything was neat and clean.

My wife and I have been here a bunch, and everytime it is awesome. The food is super tasty, and the staff are very friendly. Biggest downside is how busy it gets, but the staff handle it super well. The food comes out hot and in pretty large portions, and the wait to come in isn't so bad because you can just checkout the rest of downtown georgetown.

Everything that I have ever had here was fabulous. But the true draw for my husband and I is the chocolate pie. We will make the two hour drive from Fort Worth just for this pie. And if one is available, we will buy one to bring home.
The staff are always friendly and welcoming.
The bathrooms are always clean.
Great place, I will return as often as I can.

Service today was outstanding. Our food was delivered hot and nicely prepared. It was a notch above what we would have hoped for so they exceeded our expectations today. Nice atmosphere. We arrived on a Wednesday at 10:45am and miss both the breakfast and lunch surge
