I tell you what I am truly surprised. Although AI told me that this was the number one rated restaurant and all of Georgetown I just couldn't believe it but let me tell you this place was straight bangers. I highly recommend it and whatever you do make sure you get the biscuits you'll hate yourself if you don't
This was my first time at Monument Cafe in Georgetown and oh my goodness. Dreamy. Abigail was our server and she was delightful. I wish I lived near this place to eat the YUMMY biscuits and the desserts are to die for.
Overall, it's a decent restaurant. Other than it's location and classic exterior look, it's nothing special. Stay away on the weekends, it's packed with a 30+ min wait... again, I'm sure only due to the location. The staff were polite, even though they looked like they were all in the weeds. The restaurant seemed clean overall. The food was alright, but again nothing special. My only real complaint on the food is the 'gumbo'... the reux was almost...
