My husband and I have been to plenty of Indian restaurants in different countries and we never faced such cheap quality of food for different dishes. The meat biryani hardly had any meat on it and it was dry. We also ordered stews which came in low portions, mostly sauce, and a small bowl of white rice was brought to be shared between 2 people. I had to ask for an extra bowl of rice because my guest was so hesitant to eat more. We were so embarrassed since we had invited important people to us to the restaurant. When we asked for the bill, the server announced the price so loudly that our guests got embarrassed since they knew it was our treat.

What I liked:Good atmosphere, ample amount of seating, their freshly made naan was great (they give only as much as you need to avoid food wastage which is a good idea), dal makhni, rice pudding and gajar halwa was good in taste. What can they do better:1.Other than the items mentioned above, most of the other items from buffet were ok, didn't feel authentic taste compared to other Indian restaurants in Austin2.I have been to so many Indian food buffets over many years and multiple places in USA and this one felt $$$ considering the food quality3.Front staff was not that welcoming. A warm smile, few nice words go a long way in getting customer back into restaurant and giving free publicity to others. They can definitely do better there.Parking: Not enough spots, read signs carefully to avoid getting your car towed away

Namaste has the best Nepalese food in Georgetown. There are many excellent vegetarian items on their menu.

Had to go to the doctor today, and the three of us decided that we didn't want fastfood, we wanted a sitdown restaurant for our lunch. Looking at the interwebs led us to this place, and we were eager to try out the food. They have a lunch buffet and we were happy to have that, the choices were plentiful and really fresh because we got there fairly early on. The aroma of the food hit us as soon as we opened the door, and we were hoping that it tasted as good as it smelled. The mango lemonade was nice, I didn't realize that chai was available too or else I would have got that as well. With a pitcher of water and three large glasses delivered to the table, along with fresh buttery naan, it was looking like the right choice was made.We got a large selection of different types of food and couldn't wait to dig in to it. Everything was flavorful and cooked perfectly, so we had to try even more of it. After my three trips to the buffet, I had some rice pudding for dessert and the cardamom in it was great tasting.I really would like to list what we ate, but there was so much variety and honestly, everything was great. The service was impeccable, and the ambiance made it a great dining experience. I can't wait to get back there to try more dishes.

My family and I ate at Namaste for dinner tonight and thoroughly enjoyed our food. We are still talking about the delicious butter naan even several hours later. ☺️Our three kids were even able to enjoy their meals because my “very mild” request was actually mild enough (which is rare for Indian/Nepali restaurants we’ve been to — usually my kids can only eat rice and bread!).I loved the copper cups (copper is very health-enriching), the atmosphere was peaceful and beautiful, and the service was friendly. Tons of great vegetarian options and the samosas were AMAZING.The only negative for us was the pricing. Next time, we’ll share our entrees with each other to avoid having an enormous bill because the portion sizes are definitely big enough.Kid-friendliness: First Indian/Asian restaurant that had food mild enough for my children to enjoy!

These are the BEST samosas I’ve ever had! The texture, the filling, and the sauces were 10/10. Friendly atmosphere, all around fabulous dining experience. Will definitely be back and recommending to friends in Georgetown.

The atmosphere was very relaxed, service was prompt and friendly, prices were decent for the portion sizes and the quality of food you receive.Getting down to the nitty gritty:I really enjoyed the masala chai they had, as well as the mango lassi and rice puddings from the dessert menu. Subtly flavoured with spices that aren't overpowering and the sweetness was just right. We ordered a goat curry (hot) and vindaloo curry (extra hot), and a lamb sekuwa khaja set to share. All the meats in the dishes were tender, flavours were enjoyable with a good balance of spices, and complimented well by rice, poppadoms and naan bread. It's worth dining in as the fresh naan bread had a lovely buttery flavour, the dishes were hot and delicious, and since I do like my curries spicy I can ask for that directly.I do note that there was a buffet option available, but I personally just enjoy "a la carte" so I can have spicier dishes.

I love being waited on by Dinesh, he’s very helpful and doesn’t get frustrated when we have questions. My family and I are big fans of Indian/Napolese cuisine and are very grateful to have this place in town. Their garlic naan is awesome!

Title: Beware of Deceptive Practices: Namaste's Dubious Dual Accounts on DoorDash and Uber EatsMy recent experience with what I believed to be a new dining establishment, Zebits, via Uber Eats, has left me deeply disillusioned and disheartened. Little did I know, Zebits is merely a facade, another face of the already established restaurant, Namaste, which operates under a different guise on DoorDash. The discovery of Namaste's dual accounts on two prominent food delivery platforms, DoorDash and Uber Eats, is not only deceitful but also profoundly disappointing. As a consumer, I value transparency and authenticity, both of which are sorely lacking in this blatant attempt to manipulate customer perception.Upon placing an order from Zebits, expecting a fresh culinary experience, I was met with lackluster food quality that failed to impress. From the bland flavors to the uninspired presentation, it was evident that the cuisine fell far short of expectations. The realization that Zebits and Namaste are one and the same only added insult to injury.Namaste's decision to operate under multiple aliases not only sows confusion among customers but also raises questions about the integrity of their business practices. It's a disservice to loyal patrons and new customers alike, who deserve honesty and transparency when dining out or ordering in.I implore fellow diners to exercise caution and diligence when considering Namaste, Zebits, or any other establishment that engages in such deceptive practices. Let's hold restaurants accountable for their actions and demand the honesty and integrity we deserve as consumers.

As a frequent patron of Indian cuisine, I was eager to try out Namaste, a purported new addition to the culinary scene in my area. However, my excitement quickly turned to dismay upon discovering the disheartening truth behind this establishment's online presence.First and foremost, Namaste's dual accounts on DoorDash should raise red flags for any discerning diner. It's disconcerting to encounter two separate listings for what appears to be the same restaurant, with vastly different ratings. This deceptive tactic undermines trust and leaves customers feeling duped.Upon placing an order from what I assumed to be the "new" Namaste, my anticipation quickly waned as I sampled their fare. The food quality was subpar, lacking the vibrant flavors and authentic taste that I've come to expect from Indian cuisine. From the bland curry to the overcooked naan, each dish fell short of the mark. What's more troubling is that upon further investigation, it became evident that both accounts are indeed linked to the same establishment. This deliberate attempt to mask negative reviews by creating a new profile is not only unethical but also disrespectful to customers seeking transparency and honesty.Namaste's misleading tactics not only waste customers' time and money but also erode trust in the online ordering system. As someone who values authenticity and integrity in dining experiences, I urge others to exercise caution when considering Namaste for their next meal. There are plenty of reputable establishments that uphold higher standards of quality and honesty.
