I’ve had chicken pho at plenty of Vietnamese restaurants over the years, but nothing comes close to the bowl I had at PHO MPH in Georgetown. The broth was incredibly flavorful—clean, rich, and deeply comforting without being heavy or salty. Every spoonful had layers of flavor that made it clear this wasn’t rushed or thrown together. It tasted like something someone spent real time perfecting.
The chicken was tender and plentiful, and the herbs and toppings were fresh and thoughtfully portioned. I genuinely wasn’t expecting to be this blown away, especially since I’ve tried a lot of pho from places that get rave reviews. This one topped them all.
The restaurant itself is cozy and clean, and the service was friendly without being overbearing. You can tell this place takes pride in what they serve.
If you love pho—or even if you’ve only had it once or twice—do yourself a favor and try the chicken pho here. I don’t say this lightly: it’s the best I’ve had, by far.

"“Vibrant menu with vegan & vegetarian options” Pho MPH offers a surprisingly large selection for plant-based diners—vegetarian pho, tofu dishes, and more. Many diners praise the vegetarian variety and fresh ingredients, noting the restaurant’s relaxed and welcoming atmosphere"
The food was exceptional!!! I would recommend this place, the service was decent we got to pick a table and ordered food quickly. Got the food fast too! They have the best wonton and egg drop soup.

Come in and try the chicken crispy flat noodle. I thought it was fabulous, and superior to the version served at the other nearby asian place. Crispy noodles, delicious sauce, tender chicken, and perfectly stir fried veg. They also have a happy hour on weekdays as of now in july 2025.

"“Fresh ingredients, solid portions, cozy feel” Their pork vermicelli bowl is a stand-out—expertly cooked noodles, fresh veggies, and that great fish-sauce dressing all served in a tidy, inviting setting. It feels like enjoying a home-cooked meal in a casual but bright little space ."
"“Cozy spot with excellent pho & spring rolls!” I stopped in for lunch and absolutely loved the cozy vibe—staff were friendly, and the shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce were outstanding. The pho was flavorful, with a beautifully aromatic broth that kept me coming back for more"
Visited Pho MPH for the first time and tried three dishes: the bánh mì, vegetarian pho, and lemongrass tofu chili. The bánh mì was a bit underwhelming—missing that classic crispy baguette texture, though the flavors were decent. The vegetarian pho had an unusually dark broth, but surprisingly, it was full of flavor and comforting. The standout dish for both my wife and me was definitely the lemongrass tofu chili—packed with flavor and perfectly spiced! Overall, a solid spot for vegetarian options, though a few elements (especially the bánh mì) could use some improvement. We’d come back for the tofu!

The ambiance of the restaurant is charming but deceptive. To start, the service was subpar. The staff wasn’t rude but very stingy with everything. The egg rolls were the smallest out of all the Vietnamese places we’ve been to. Then when they brought out our appetizers we had to ask for plates to eat the appetizers on. We were only given one napkin each and when we asked for more, again only one napkin each. The food was okay..

I was craving pho and decided to try Pho MPH based on the reviews—so glad I did! The atmosphere is cozy and clean, and the food exceeded my expectations. The broth is clearly made with care, and the meat is always tender. Great spot for a relaxing meal or a quick lunch.

This place is a hidden gem! The spring rolls were super fresh, and the peanut sauce was perfect. I tried the chicken pho and it had the perfect balance of herbs and spice. Clean restaurant, attentive staff, and great prices.
Pho MPH has quickly become my go-to spot for comfort food. The broth is rich and flavorful, and the portions are generous. I had the brisket pho and it was absolutely delicious. The service is always friendly, and the food comes out hot and fast. Highly recommend!
Whomever the lady is in the front is absolutely RUDE! My friends and I frequently go here and are treated well. I've never seen this woman and she's so rude. I advised her I had a stomach procedure so and the Dr even provided a card to make smaller portions, she refused. I even told her I'd pay the full price. I accidentally pointed to the teriyaki chicken, but she was SO RUDE AND LOUD trying to make a point that she didn't hear me tell her FIVE times that I'm allergic to onions and it was my mistake I needed the Seasame chicken. She would not come up for air to save her life. I got home and low and behold teriyaki chicken that could kill me bc of my allergies to it. I called her and was not rude AT ALL. She just started to tell and say well we will refund you my manager will and guaranteed I don't get a refund. I just wanted my correct order and offered to pay the difference, but no the woman PeePee advised me that they would not be making my order for me again they weren't serving me. Not realizing how much business I bring to them! Not only do I work for the state, but also the city. She refused to give me corporates number. Which I'll find it! Then she hung up on me. I called back and now my number is blocked all because she didn't LISTEN to her customer after I told hey I didn't mean to pick the teriyaki chicken it would kill me, I meant to point to the Seasame. You guys please don't go here if they are going to treat their customers this way. I was not rude. I was very kind and tried to explain to her, but she took it into her own hands. To block your customer who is willing to pay the difference is diabolical. Especially after a long shift at the hospital. I absolutely don't deserve this and a single mom. I'm exhausted and just wanted to enjoy good food. Never again will they get my service, and my friends will no longer go to that location either. Such a shame!
I stopped in for lunch, and it was pretty delicious! The service was great, the vibe is cozy too! I got the shrimp spring rolls, the peanut sauce was so good! I also got a rare steak pho. The broth was on point. Great place to stop in and get a pho fix!

After reading the reviews I decided to give them try. My review: overpriced and overrated. Tasted more like a frozen dinner than authentic. If you like this place then please try other places so you can compare. I would not recommend Pho MPH.
