Sadly I was really hoping to like this place. Waited forever for our food and then it was brought 5 minutes apart.. so my food was cold before my friend got hers. Employees nor manager handled a situation well at all. Manager never came to the table to try and even resolve an issue. Once was enough for this place. Too many better options for better prices. I also don't like giving my cc before I even get my food. Open tab for a soda?? Odd to me.
Always great here. Never had a bad meal there.
The two female bartenders were rude and dismissive. We stood at the bar waiting to order and although they made eye contact, they refused to acknowledge us whatsoever and continued to whisper to each other. We will not go back
The food has really improved, the hamburger is great! Nice they have a full bar now and the frozen drinks are fun. Sometimes it can get a lot of kids so that's not fun.
Bar/counter service for ordering, but they did deliver our food to the table. Everything was very good. My wife had the Cuban-ish and she loved it, plus it was enough for 2 meals. I had the Pastrami. Excellent hot sandwich. Not sized like old-style NY delis, but a large sandwich nonetheless.
I love Jazz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😆😆😆😆😆
Poor service every time I go. The bartender Jaz is so rude. She has made us feel very uncomfortable to the point of having to leave.
A+!! Wish I had discovered this place sooner, best burger in Georgetown! Good ambiance, love the seating setup and food is fabulous 👌
Best burger in Georgetown. Small but nice beer selection too.
Review for Tejas
Tejas is a fantastic spot if you’re looking for delicious food and excellent drinks. The menu has a great variety, and everything we tried was well-prepared and flavorful. The ambiance is lively yet relaxed, making it a great place to catch up with friends or enjoy a casual evening out.
However, one thing that detracted from the experience was the fact that random people were allowed to come in and ask patrons for money. While it’s understandable to want to support the community, it can be disruptive to the dining experience. I’d recommend that the management reconsider how they handle this to maintain the overall vibe of the restaurant.
Still, Tejas has a lot going for it, and I’d love to come back—hopefully without interruptions next time!

Great food
Came her for lunch and was not impressed. You seat yourself, which is fine. Lots of tables were available, picnic tables, high tops, lower tables and you can eat at the bar. We had to walk up to the bar to get menus and unfortunately was not told we would have to go back up there to order food, so we sat at our table awhile, not sure what to do. The Bartender took our order and handed us our drinks. I had the Pastrami sandwich. It was light on meat and pastrami flavor. My husband had the beef dip and it looked like it had a little bit more brisket. The fries were good, but not hot and crispy. We did not feel welcomed here, poor service and the restaurant itself only had a few tables. Other reviews mentioned friendly service, they weren’t working today.
Great sandwiches, nachos, cold beer, and friendly people.
Just an outstanding supportive business in Georgetown. Hands down the best sandwiches anywhere with a full service bar. Especially thankful to Tejas Meat Supply for supporting “Music on the Square”. This truly is a community based business that I will continue to support…
Can't go wrong here.
