Service was very good and quick. They also have a drive thru service. We got the Monday special, two meats , three sides and a small drink. Reasonable price for bbq. The brisket was good , but not cooked in a smoker. The sausage was plentiful but a little bland. The sides were ok. And the tea was very good. They have one kind of bbq sauce. I think they should have had several kinds of sauce to satisfy customers preferences.

I'm usually optimistic trying new places. I would see that this place was busy often. I won't be visiting here again. Plates was over priced and food had no flavor ? I like Texas BBQ! This was a disappointment.

This is a pretty good basic bbq place. I had a brisket plate and my dad had a half chicken plate and both of the meats were excellent. Potato salad was good. Cole slaw was a bit different tasting but still pretty good. I had some apple cobbler desert and we both really liked it. It was sweet and apple tasting without being overwhelmingly sweet. The atmosphere was a bit old timey and a bit cluttered and run down but still completely functional and having access to dill pickle slices and onion slices added some cool flavor to the food. Overall I think we will definately be going back.
Parking: About 6 spaces in front of location, along with many more spaces off to the right of the building.
Wheelchair accessibility: Only saw one handicapped space right in front of entrance.

You can get sweet sauce if you want it but they have this delicious sauce that defies description.
Their green beans taste SUPER FRESH and not over cooked with bacon. Their meat is very good too.
The atmosphere is very friendly and it is a modest Mom and Pop eatery down the road on Williams. I highly recommend that they be added to your BBQ circuit!
Parking: They have their own parking and an enormous parking lot connected to their own lot.
Kid-friendliness: Casual dining to accommodate a large family with kids.
First time trying The Pit. We walked in and the smell of BBQ hits you hard! Delightful. We ordered the brisket sandwich and the 2 meat plate (brisket/Ribs) Sides were beans, Mac n cheese, and potato salad.
The food was so tasty and flavorful. The brisket had that Smokey flavor which was nice.
The ribs were really good and juicy (fell off the bone) The Mac n cheese had the perfect consistency and flavor was great.
The potato salad was ok not bad. The beans weren't my favorite. For our drink we got sweet tea and it was perfect!
The service was good and we will definitely be back. So sad they aren't open on Sunday because we would've come back today!
First time visiting The Pit. The chopped brisket sandwich’s were not good. It had the consistency of ground hamburger meat or chili meat and I did not like the flavor at all. Their potatoe salad and sausage was good, but I just can’t get past that brisket Sandwhich . I don’t think I will be revisiting .
Got their small chopped beef sandwiches. Didn't have much flavor had the consistency of a sloppy joe,didn't enjoy it all. Neither did the people who were eating with me. Personally I will not be revisiting this establishment.

Can never go wrong with The Pit. I take all my brisket there monthly to get smoked and cut , then i bring home to freeze. I still love to go eat here. Workers are very nice.
