Torchy's Tacos

Very tasty flavors and much more variety than just (their excellent) tacos. Well worth expanding your choice beyond tacos. Their app could be improved because it didn't list the location I was in when I attempted to select it as a favorite.

Place is one of the better Torchy’s. They got rid of all the good lemonades however and drinks! So sad!

A little pricey for a taco shop but the tacos are really good. Big fan of the Republican and the brush fire. There are chips and green chili queso are really good. Half the time I end up with the taco of the month which tends to always be a really good choice. This location serves Coke products and has outdoor seating.

It took 35mins for 1 single taco to be ready.
No veggies, no dips, no salsa, just 1 PLAIN corn tortilla with meat. Ridiculous.

First time to this particular store, and I usually love Torchy's, although it's inconsistent on both quality and portions but this store was very disappointing! Very skimpy tacos, hardly any accouterments. Very cheap portions of main ingredients! Bland avocado taco with cold shreds of tasteless cheese. Have to ask for Diablo sauce which is their claim to fame. Also our stomachs felt queasy afterwards.

Shrimp taco - great, will come back for one of these
The democrat taco - they forgot the avocado, so might as well call it a normal barbacoa taco and charge me $4 instead of $6
Migas taco - real bad. Stale tortilla chips and unmelted shredded cheese, neither cooked into the egg the way i associate with migas. This one had avocado but they are pretty stingy with it. One slice.

It is a spacious restaurant with a bar, so i could see it being an acceptable place to grab a margarita if you live in the neighborhood

Even if i would prefer a cheap taco truck to open in this shopping center, bougie taco restaurants like torchy's have their place - if the tacos are actually good and offer a little something more than the usual street taco. Torchy's is really on the low end for this type of restaurant in terms of the food quality. Years ago i would go to one in austin with friends who liked it. Back then it was okay if pricey. Seems to have gotten worse over time. Shrinkflation perhaps.

While the tacos are great, the setup for togo pickup is not so great. 15 people crowded around a small area up front trying to hear what the person on the other side of the wall is calling out while the music is drowning out any chance of hearing in the back of the crowd is not a recipe for success. A digital board with togo order names posted would go a long way. Next time the wife wants to order togo, I know where I'm not suggesting.

Great food, the newest spicy shrimp tacos were amazing along with the chicken tacos with mango in them.
