This was the worst and most disgusting meal I've ever had! The food looked and tasted like it had been sitting out all day. Everything was soggy and greasy. The service wasn't good. Staff never checked on us. Never got any drink refills. There's a weird smell in the back where the desserts are. I would not recommend eating here.

There is a giant hole in the middle of the floor and a strong sewage smell is seeping up from it. All of the shrimp in the buffet has not been deveined. The food did not look fresh. I go by at least once a week, every time they have a great buffet and I have never seen anyone disliking or leaving food on their plates. Some might experience a language barrier, but that would be with the crew, everyone in charge knows what you might want. I hope you enjoy your meal, I always do.

My husband is a BIG fan of.the Chinese buffet. They also have a cook-to-order bar and many dessert choices. It is reliably good, fresh even when it's 130 and a very good value.

I don't know why this is reported closed. I was there on Tuesday. The address is 509 N Wood St, Gilmer, TX 75644, or 509 US Highway 271 N, Gilmer. Phone is 903.843.9696. The owners are legit from China (Cantonese). Also, this place was surprisingly good! And a good value. First, the place is clean and nice inside. Maybe they renovated. Second, the price was great: Mon-Fri lunch buffet is $9.69 plus tax. Seriously, how much do you pay at McD or Sbucks? Third, the food was surprisingly good! There's a Mongolian BBQ, so if you like garlic and/or spice, that's got you covered. It's probably good no matter what, but that's my go-to. I'm on a veggie diet, so I didn't try the meat options, but they looked okay to me. I did try some of the sushi, and I liked it. Desserts: They had five flavors of ice cream! How is that not good? =) Also, in the back-right section, they have more desserts. One is labeled "Cheese cake," but it looks like not your normal cheesecake (see pics). I'm also trying to avoid sweets, but just for you, I tried one. Then I tried another just to be sure. =) I felt like I was having a fancy dessert in a fancy restaurant. Omgoodness. Everyone was friendly. Just hard-working people trying to make a living. Next time I'm heading toward Texarkana, I'll pass thru Gilmer and eat here again!

Had the buffet food was ok the Grill was great but after I ate seen a Roach clawing up the wall be the window and then went to the restroom and seen dead Roaches on the floor so be careful when you eat in this place I was just passing by and wanted some Chinese food this was Thursday Oct 10 2023 about 5 o'clock in the evening so be careful
