The best street tacos!!!
My wife and I ate lunch here for the first time today. We shared the Chayo’s steak nachos and they were awesome. It’s definitely enough to feed two people, but I’m sure there are some that could probably eat the whole thing. It filled the two of us up, and we also had the agua fresca pineapple drink. Also very tasty. Over all, the food was very fresh and didn’t disappoint. We will definitely be coming back. The place is small but cozy and stays pretty busy which is a good thing. The prices were very reasonable. We paid $14.95 for a huge plate of nachos that were loaded and smothered in white queso. Give it a try if you’re in the area. I think you’ll enjoy it. Just an FYI: you order and pay at the counter. Not a dealbreaker by any means but thought I’d mention it.
Love the Choyos nachos!! So big & good flavors!! The other favorites is tacos & stuffed avocados. Highly recommend coming here.
Can't get enough of their food! We are so thankful to have them in Gilmer.
Amazing food!!! Nachos were huge. Could feed a small army
Super tacos were legit too
Great place to eat
Nachos were awesome. Two people could definitely share them. Delicious!
Came on taco Tuesday and tacos were only ¢99! The cheese and bean burrito is heaven! ? And they got cokes imported from Mexico! ? extremely good overall would definitely recommend!
WOAH!! This tiny taco shop in Gilmer, Texas has taken me right back home to San Luis Potosi. I ordered 3 street tacos al pastor, an elote, and a mexican coke.First off, you are greeted warmly and the hostess is happy to answer menu questions. The shop offers indoor and outdoor seating, and the wait for the meal is shortThe service is impeccable, the tortillas are homemade and the salsa is great! This is currently the most authentic al pastor I have tried in northeast Texas, and would absolutely drive out of my way for these tacos.Pleasantly surprised by this little gem and can't wait to come again to sample more of the menu.
Ordered some a ocaso salad and I was not really impressed. It was ok. I had to wait for so long tho. They need more personal.

Great food ! Love their tacos and nachos !!
Everything was delicious! I had a large order and know they're busy on Taco Tuesdays, so I called ahead. Extremely friendly service and great prices. They have the absolute BEST red and green sauce around. We will definitely be back.
So far everything I have tried has been wonderful.
Avocado enchiladas are amazing. Perfect rice and beans and the salsa is incredible! Great place, nice and clean.
New restaurant: Strike 1--Had to go knock on the kitchen door for service. Strike 2: Salsa is like water. Strike 3: had to ask for a menu. Not good.
