The lady named summer that was working at the drive-through was extremely rude and unprofessional. We ordered $30 worth of food we had to ask for a bag we had to ask for our silverware we asked for our sauces because we didn’t get a choice and then she started getting rowdy because we asked her if the other meal could get barbecue sauce she decided to say that no it doesn’t come with it and shut the drive-through door so we drove around to the front and my friend went inside. She was extremely disrespectful, screaming at her manager and also at a customer. This is not the type of Customer Service that y’all have in there she is a Horrible representation for your environment and when you’re spending 15+ dollars on a meal, we should be able to ask if we want sauce for our strips. We also got fried pickles and got no sauce for that too. Is that an up charge? The manager continued to let her scream over him as well he needs to grow a pair If you know what I mean

I can't explain how happy I am that we finally have Chicken Express in Gilmer. It was slowly being built over the last year, and now it's here. Great chicken, always fresh, great customer service. The fish is also excellent here, very big pieces of fish. They have the best sides, fried pickles, fried okra, corn nuggets, poppers, and fries. it's all good. I need to go up there now after making this review. I'm hungry.... lol

Cream corn is on the menu I ordered it they said they don't have it anymore. Then I got okra(it was cooked in old grease or recooked and was cold) everything else was fine. I still love chicken express

Cold greasy chicken. Think I've finally learned. This is the 4th time. Not going back. I'll drive to Longview
We go here at least once a week. We always get the 3 piece dark special that comes with a drink for a very reasonable price. The chicken is always on point, meaning great. The only negative is that sometimes, which lately has been more often than we'd like, the pieces have been very small. We feel they should add another piece free of charge when that happens. If it keeps happening we will find somewhere else to go. It's not worth it if it's not filling. No matter how good it is.

We ordered a #2 seven piece tenders to split between us, with a side of okra & coleslaw. Everything was delicious! Including the okra. This location is only the 2nd we have found in this chain that the was not over cooked! We will be coming back.

1 star for delicious food and another star for fast service. It would've been 5 stars if the person who took my order wasn't RUDE. She had an attitude and kept interrupting me when I was ordering!Decided to visit this location again and the guy who took my order was rude too. I give up. I'm not gonna let these rude teenagers stop me from eating here, but it would be nice if their customer service was addressed.
