Went in just before 9pm since the place closed at 10pm and was told they didn't have any white meat because everything after 9 had to be made to order....as if that was supposed to be common knowledge. The inside of the restaurant had already put up all the chairs even though they still had an hour left. The girl at the front door try to offer my two pieces of dark meat to equal the price for the breast (and size), but was told by someone in the back she couldn't do that since other people were ordering in the drive through

Very inconvenient when ordering. For the past 4 years, any time I went here they always short my meal and sometimes not give me my food. Half the employees need to be fired and replaced.

They have good chicken! We always enjoy the food. The only complaint we have is that the tables are always dirty and we have to ask someone to clean one for us. A few days ago, we asked a young man to clean a table for us and told him they were all dirty, but he only cleaned the one. Today, the same thing happened with a different worker. They really should check them regularly.

The lady named summer that was working at the drive-through was extremely rude and unprofessional. We ordered $30 worth of food we had to ask for a bag we had to ask for our silverware we asked for our sauces because we didn’t get a choice and then she started getting rowdy because we asked her if the other meal could get barbecue sauce she decided to say that no it doesn’t come with it and shut the drive-through door so we drove around to the front and my friend went inside. She was extremely disrespectful, screaming at her manager and also at a customer. This is not the type of Customer Service that y’all have in there she is a Horrible representation for your environment and when you’re spending 15+ dollars on a meal, we should be able to ask if we want sauce for our strips. We also got fried pickles and got no sauce for that too. Is that an up charge? The manager continued to let her scream over him as well he needs to grow a pair If you know what I mean

I can't explain how happy I am that we finally have Chicken Express in Gilmer. It was slowly being built over the last year, and now it's here. Great chicken, always fresh, great customer service. The fish is also excellent here, very big pieces of fish. They have the best sides, fried pickles, fried okra, corn nuggets, poppers, and fries. it's all good. I need to go up there now after making this review. I'm hungry.... lol
As fast food chicken goes, this is very nice! Appears very clean and open, I’m not a food inspector but this one passes my test! Rest room are clean!
