Definitely an east Texas favorite. I have grown to like these more than Pittsburg hot links. The service is always excellent and the links never disappoint! Don’t forget to add a side of chili! It’s great!

Very friendly staff. Tables are a little close to the door, so when busy it can be hard getting in or out of the restaurant.

Been going here since I was a kid with my dad. Love it. Everyone should go there. People are so friendly there. No judgements no worries sit there and eat in peace.

Very disappointing experience. I left a review about poor service, and instead of acknowledging customers or letting them know hey no more inside orders just take out we close soon, I was met with, “We close in 15 minutes,” followed by, “How many did you want?” Mind you we were sitting inside for a good 15 mins before anyone said a word and this was way before 5:30 .Completely dismissive and unprofessional. That’s not how you treat customers — especially I don’t recommend this place if you value customer service in such a way.

I came back to my hometown with my friend on her birthday and we both enjoyed all of it . So glad to see they kept the same recipe as when I was a child in Gilmer. So everyone come down here to my hometown and get you some of famous Docs Hot Links. You just cannot eat just one hot link. I guarantee you the best.
