Phone disconnected & realtor sign in window. I'm going to miss those delicious burgers & fries. Joe's was the only place in Gilmer that would actually cook our burgers the way we asked.
If you pass through Gilmer and don't stop at Joe's, you've missed one heck of a treasure.Joe preps the kitchen. Joe makes the burgers. Joe rings you up. It is truly Joe's Place. Get the double meat double pepper jack cheese. You won't regret it!
It's a hole in the wall.., and you'll wait your turn, but man it is a good burger. The buns seem a little different, special somehow and grilled. The lettuce is crisp and the tomatoes are fresh. Onions and pickles if you want them. Next time I go, I'll get the double cheeseburger and just call it dinner. Fresh cut fries.., can't forget them. It's a one-man operation, so try to miss the lunch rush and get there by 11 or after 1. You can eat inside at little...
