They have very good customer service

I don’t mind driving for good food and LaFinca has always served consistently quality food. That is why I return. My favorite is the stuffed avocado. Our waitress Jessica was very friendly and attentive too. Even though the restaurant was packed with a wait she didn’t rush us. I asked for a manager to commend her but he was busy in the kitchen.
Lafinca is always good!! We love doing the nachos and subbing chips for fries!!! It’s sooo good. The green sauce is also a favorite.
If you like dinner in a cold, well-lit, noisy environment, with very ho-hum food.., this is your place. That this place is the second best restaurant in Gilmer, TX speaks volumes. Our waitress was nice, tried hard.., it wasn't her fault.

The food and service were great! You have to get the Mahi Mahi fish tacos. They were the best I ever had. Good chips, dip and frozen Margarita. Will be going back, soon. Gilmer, TX is not too far from where we live in Mount Pleasant, TX. So worth the drive!

I gave 2 stars because service was good but food was less than mediocre. I ordered hard shell tacos and was expecting authentic hard shell tacos made in the restaurant NOT premaid taco shells. I asked for chicken but there was some kind of grey cardboard mixed in with it. Beans were suspect and rice, although it looked yummy had no flavor. Basically, nothing was even close to what they advertise and show on their website. I feel that if I'm going to have premaid taco shells I might as well go to Taco Bell. Save your money and go elsewhere.
The beef fajitas were amazing! Liberal portions and all for understanding $10.Highly recommended
Wife wanted to try Landin's out. She brought dinner home. had a Styrofoam container with tons of grease the tacos were laying in. They tasted like they were either cooked on a really dirty grill or in burnt oil. The refried beans...well....lets just say we won't be eating there again.
Food was great and staff is very friendly! Definitely check it out.
