Absolutely beautiful venue! The wine was superb, the brisket was too die for and the owner even chatted with us. The grounds are gorgeous with ponds, beautiful outdoor spaces, hay fields, vineyards, and even outside games. We stayed there because it is also a Harvest Host (so we could park and hook up our RV) and we could have not gotten a luckier and more enjoyable location!
Highly recommend the Rose and brisket!
Forgot to take pictures of the food and drinks , had a celebration there today and everything was 10 out of 10 from the service to the servers to just everyone that we came in contact with , we definitely will be back đđŸ
Friendly folks, beautiful scenery, fantastic food and wine. Spend the day or the whole weekend.
We visited Rowdy Creek Ranch on a Friday night with my family after making a reservation two weeks in advance. When my mom called to book, the person said she couldnât find a pen but assured her the reservation was noted. When my parents arrived first, they were told there was no reservation on fileâbut were seated anyway. It wasnât overly busy, maybe 10â12 tables at most.
We ordered drinks and appetizers first, and then later placed our entrĂ©e orders. Unfortunately, our appetizersâsimple items like chips and queso, chips and salsa, and spinach artichoke dipâtook over an hour to come out. We didnât make a fuss, and we were polite throughout, even though the delay was excessive for what we ordered.
The entrées were fine. They were edible, so no real complaints there. The real issue came with dessert.
I asked about the cheesecake duo and was told it came with one chocolate and one strawberry slice. I asked if it could be made without the strawberry, and our waitress said no, so we went with pecan pie instead. Then she came back and said they actually could do it without strawberries, so I changed the order to the cheesecake duo with one chocolate and one plain.
When the food runner brought out a single piece of cheesecake, I kindly said, âHey, we were supposed to get two pieces.â She looked at me, rolled her eyes, and said, âWell, thatâs what the ticket says.â I was shocked by how openly rude she was. Our waitress then came back and caught an attitude about the same issueâalso rolling her eyes right at me.
Let me be clear: I wasnât rude. I didnât raise my voice. I wasnât demanding. But to be treated that way by not one but two staff members over something so minor was unacceptable. Iâve never been spoken to or looked at that way by service staff anywhere else.
The food wasnât the biggest problemâit was the way I was treated. If this kind of attitude is how customers are responded to when theyâre being polite and patient, then something is off. Either the staff needs more training, or theyâre simply not suited for customer service. We still tipped, but if it had been my call, that tip wouldnât have happened because rude waitresses do not deserve a $1.
Disappointed isnât even the word. We wonât be back.
Absolutely love this place!
Beautiful manicured grounds. Horses a lake in the middle and cabins that are as cute as a button, are just some of the thing as to do here!
We totally enjoyed the wines we tasted, all are delicious. Our faves were the Chardonnay and Texas Cabernet. You should at least try the Cabernet Franc it is magnificent.
They have music Friday and Saturday nights, too!
We will be back!

Hosted my daughters graduation party here this weekend. Around 30 of us including kids. Food was amazing on Sunday brunch and service was great. We enjoyed our visit with the owner Dr. Bolnick. Never a bad time when we go.
10/10 family friendly place that has amazing food and drinks. The Rowdy Mary is a must try. Do not miss out on this East Texas gem!
My family has suggested this place for years and finally came out here. We loved it! Great wine and fantastic atmosphere! We will definitely be coming back.
