About a year ago I posted a review that never got a reply. It was about the run down condition of the restaurant. Wallpaper was coming off the walls. The place was dirty. The drink area, nasty. I just wondered if any repairs and clean up ever happened. We like the food there, but with the dining area looking so shabby, we weren't comfortable eating there. We didn't see the kitchen area so we were concerned about food safety. We would like to eat there if it was clean and decent looking.

I went in and ordered at 12:17. I was handed my chips and cup. The coke and all coke products were out, ice was everywhere on the floor. The guy behind the counter said it's been broke forever and the replacement machine has been in the back for months and he doesn't know why the new one hasn't been put in yet. Several people came in, ordered and got their food and I'm still waiting on my sandwich. Finally at 12:38, 21 minutes later I asked about it. Someone in the back yelled it was put in as a phone order. I got it and left. I understand being busy but the front guy made eye contact with me several times in that 20 minute span as I was awkwardly standing at the counter and never asked how he could help me.

I like this chain but the one here is Gilmer is crap especially if you do not dine in!! I have had several orders placed and picked up and something is always either missing or wrong! My hot sandwich is cold or not what I asked for it’s like a surprise in abag

I cant rate their food because we ended up leaving before ordering. We waited around for almost 10 minutes and no one ever came to the front to take our order or even acknowledge the fact we were there. If that's the kind of service you offer, I won't be going back. Someone could have come in and stole something and no one would have known.

They left the meat off of my sandwich. I ordered a classic add bacon and got just bacon no meat. I live by Bettie so by the time I got home I was not trying to drive back out there.
