Don't go after 7:30; sign says they close at 8:00, but if you walk in at 7:35, you get told that they turned off their fryers and are closing! First time just became my last time!!

Crawfish, shrimp, corn and potatos had literally no seasoning and tasted like they were boiled in seasonless water. I was VERY dissapointed 😭

So first off, my first time eating here and my 10 year old son and I were greeted as soon as I walked in. We came about 4ish and it was a slow time for them I guess. Sat in a booth and had to wipe the table down a bit before we touched it. Server was nice and accommodating and checked on us frequently which I loved. I ordered 3lb of crawfish and that came with one corn and 2 potatoes. I asked for spice level and she had said there’s only one level and that’s how it came. She did say there’s a kick to it. My son ordered fried fish and fries and hush puppies. The waitress did inform me that my food would come out first since it’s already made and at this point I questioned it because do they not boil it to order? I just went with it. Brought out my crawfish and it was hot, but the first one I picked up, the tail meat was crumbling apart like it had been cooked too long. Few dead ones in there but overall, I’m not too picky because even cooking it at home you’ll have a few of those. As I go thru the batch, the shell seemed a lot softer than I’m used to so yes it was easy to peel but also questioned if it was already cooked and they just soaked it in the boiling water used to cook the crawfish. It was pretty spicy to where my nose was leaking and my ears were popping, and I’m usually a good spice tolerant person. Flavor was good inside the head of crawfish. Asked for lemons and some seasoning on the side because I like to dip. Fast forward to the end of the meal, waitress comes to give my bill. $34 total for us which is reasonable. I asked her about the crawfish being soft and some being overcooked and she had replied that it was indeed their last sack and they had cooked it earlier that day and kept in a cooler until ordered and then was warmed up. After I heard that confession, I’m not sure I want to eat here again. I love crawfish and was so looking forward for this place to be THE place I get my crawfish fix. Maybe I just need to catch them at a busy time.

Great food, the sausage was not as warm as I would have liked it, but the flavor was great. Service was alright, but after she dropped off the food no one came back to ask how it was.

Being pregnant crawfish is a massive craving! The spicier the better- Lips better be burning- We did have a different establishment we were visiting in Big Sandy (IYKYK) but the last three times service was REALLY bad quality so my husband & I have been bouncing around looking for great quality and great service. Color me impressed! I have found a better tasting crawfish and about an hour closer! Keep it up!!

I go to Crawdaddy‘s pretty often but this is the first time I wrote a review on it. It’s on the side street not far from Gilmer post office the food is so delicious. I go for the 1 pound bowl shrimp with two potatoes and corn with a sweet tea. The plate is $14.95 the drinks are $2.00 not bad for good sea food I hope this encourages others to try this because I won’t it to stick around for many years.
