We ate here last weekend for our first time. We arrived early before the evening crowd. Bob greeted us at the door and showed us around the place telling us the stories behind each item and picture. The steaks were cooked to perfection and there is so much food, we had enough to eat on the next day. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend putting The Stockyards Steakhouse on your restaurant list. It is worth the drive.
We had a wonderful meal here. Bob with a wonderful host to show us around and give us a tour. He visited and sat with us for a long time. Appreciated all the extra he puts in, thank you.

PROS:
* The host (owner?) was a very welcoming hospitable cowboy, chatting with us, showing us some of the many western memorabilia, awards, etc., and checking to make sure our steaks were done to our liking. Super nice guy.
