Worth the drive from fort worth. 100% would do again. Fair prices and free beans. I had the fancy burrito, was enough for two meals but was too good, so ate it in one.

Definitely some delicious Mexican food for Godley, and as long as they keep up the daily specials they'll have a customer in my household.

Del Norte Tacos never disappoints! The steak tacos were absolutely amazing, and getting to meet the owner this time made it even better — he was so friendly and welcoming. On our last visit we tried the brisket tacos, which were also incredible, and our friend who introduced us to this place swears by the pork tacos. They have a huge menu, yet everything we’ve tried has been top notch. So it would be impossible to pick a favorite! I think the owner’s family was there too — they were all so nice when we came in and when we left. Well worth the drive every time! 🌮🔥

Just stopped by this morning and didn't know they wasn't open yet so as I was backing out the owner came out asking me what I wanted i told him that it was fine but insisted cause we treat everyone like family so we went in and made me 3 brisket tacos which were amazing and didn't even charge me even though I offered to pay several times I didn't get your name but thank you you made my morning

Full disclosure, I cant really rate this place as well as Id like to. On our visit they had NO BRISKET AVAILABLE. THAT is unforgiveable in Texas. It also meant we couldnt sample the main item any taco place should be rated on. We had to settle for chicken quesadilla and tacos. They were good enough, but not enough to rate more than 3 stars overall. We may give them a 2nd chance and see if that improves

It was the best around back in the early 2000s now its mid at best and the price is crazy for the loc and zip code . A lot of meat they are out of late in the day and the smoked meat appears to be blended with grilled meat to cut cost on wood and time it used to be very smokie taste but not now. Not worth the drive or the price but will still stomp our Fuzzy or Thochy any day of the week but for a few more bucks . It looked like they have live music for a cover late in the day . The place was a 1950s closed gas station . I dined in an old garage with ac limited seating indoors with ac they have screened deck too.

We were driving thru Godley on a Wednesday and stopped in at Del Norte Tacos for some lunch. The parking lot was empty so we were unsure if it was even open. A little confusing as to which door is actually the entrance but once inside you'll find a small area with chalkboard menu's on the wall.
The prices are on the higher side for a place that sells tacos but it is what it is. The wife ordered one brisket taco ($6.99) and I ordered one chicken taco ($6.99) and one pork taco ($6.00). They are standard flour or double corn tortillas. Each taco did have a lot of meat so that was a plus. But I tasted the wife's brisket taco and there was no smoke flavoring in the meat. It was like the brisket was cooked in an oven. My pork and chicken tacos were okay but again at $6-$6.99 each you'd expect more. The beans and salsa are complimentary. No complimentary chips or other condiments like onions, pico or jalapenos. Queso or chips & salsa are $10 ea. BBQ sandwich is $19. House Burrito is $17+, Southwest Nachos are $16.79.
Our bill for two lunches (3 tacos) with two teas was $33.53 after processing fee, tax & 15% tip. I felt the total bill was too high so I only tipped 15%. They do have an outdoor music venue stage setup and occasionally have live music. All in all I wasn't impressed with the prices and maybe that's why the parking lot was somewhat empty.
Small place in small town, food fresh and good. It was BBQ smoky and hot but yes, I will go again.
