Palio's Pizza Cafe Godley

We fell in love with Palio's 5 years ago and we're excited to see one close to us after other fave locations closed.

All locations are pretty quiet, but the Godley location is probably the quietest we've been to. They have a TV but it usually isn't ever on when we come in at lunch time or just after. The pizza is always good, cooked well, and I love the salads. They also have a pretty good spinach lasagna, too! There is usually a young person taking orders, and they are usually nice. Overall, it gets the job done and is tasty!

This is a jam up spot that you don't wanna miss out on.

The food all around looks great with an arrangement of appetizers. Right their for the picking

We had calzones while our daughter had a kids cheese pizza. Let me tell you the calzones were amazing. Soft crusted with multiple dipping sauces.
Daughter destroyed her pizza along with 2 things of ranch.

The inside is a very homey warming setting that Is easy to see ourselves coming more and more.

I wish I had something nicer to say. We are new-ish to the area and have ordered from Palio’s a handful of times, tonight being the last time.

1st time ordering gave benefit of the doubt, when we caught the delivery driver touching and rearranging our pizza in the car before delivering.

Tonight, receiving a ‘Hawaiian Sunrise’ (don’t even know what this is, where we ordered Hawaiian. This pizza comes with nuts, dried fruit, etc in addition to a traditional Hawaiian. Mind you, we’ve ordered a Hawaiian multiple times with no conflict like this. I called to see how we could make this right, after kindly tipping, paying, etc. The manager was a complete jerk, stated the pizza was already paid for and he wasn’t sure what I wanted him to do. Heaven forbid someone with an allergy end up with this trash.

We will go the distance for better service, because this isn’t where it’s at.

To add, the fries we received as a side were TRASH — a soggy mess.

Spare yourself the headache and don’t deal with these jerks.

Ordered a baked ziti with meatballs and extra cheese.

Then get told by the employee he was told baked Ziti with meat sauce. So now we're liars after we just argued for 15 min for about getting meatballs. Come on man ? Well it worked out. I was for cooking at home lol

We had pizza and sodas. Everything was delicious. The only negative was the room temperature. Not sure if ac broke. Besides that it was great.

Passing through, ordered for pick up. Pizza was alright. Mozzarella sticks were the nastiest cheese sticks I've ever tried. What the heck crust was that on them? We're they slow baked? Just gross. I can't believe you would actually serve that to people with a straight face then to charge them! Must be ordering the cheapest possible foods to resale. Just disappointed in spending that much money on inedible. We'll hit the sonic next door next time we need to stop passing through.

Very good service I ordered from this restaurant using DoorDash and the ice cream was missing they went out they way to deliver the ice cream thank u so much ❤️❤️❤️ will order agin happy customer

We come here often and loves the pizza here but we ordered food for delivery and is not happy about it. We ordered a large king pizza and asked to add artichokes and pineapple. After we opened up the pizza. We noticed there were barely any toppings so I called in and asked what happened. I talked to a manager and I told him its missing a lot of toppings. He said he personally made the pizza himself and said all toppings were there but when I asked i dont see any mushrooms he then admited they were out of mushrooms. Had no onions either. Also paid extra for the 3 tiny pieces of artichokes basically he lied to me n said all toppings were there but forgot to mention they were out of mushrooms and so makes me wonder what else he forgot to mention because when I order pizza from here, they are usually generous with the toppings. He told me sarcastically if I want a lot of toppings next time to order all extra toppings but I said I will get charged extra for that and he just laughed at me saying yup you will. This is not a good way to loose customers. Bye palios pizza.

If I could rate this Palio's with 6 stars, I would. Their service was exceptional and the food was delicious and served promptly. The restaurant was clean and inviting. We have a Palio's near us and it is totally different (not good). I look forward to returning to this location soon!
