Peabody's Restaurant

As my wife and I are driving through the hill country we were reminded of our memorable experience during our honeymoon 4 years ago.We arrived 10 minutes past the 2pm hour on our way south. They were kind enough to still serve us on a Sunday. Peabody's has sold. It's now called Lucky T Ranch. I have eaten the chicken fried steak. Was very good. I stopped yesterday morning when I got off work. Got an omelet called johns. Had so much meat in it. I couldn't finish it. 4 pieces of toast. Hash browns. My dog was so happy I couldn't finish it. ?

Friendly staff, food was good. I had the buffet. Plenty of choices on the buffet. There are three different plate choices for the buffet. Small, regular and all you can eat so you can chose your level of hunger. Comes with a salad and dessert too. They also have a regular menu if you don't want the buffet. I'd stop here again if I was in the area for a meal. It does have a new name but so far Peabody's is still painted on the side of the building.
