Best sandwiches ever! I LOVE Pam’s Panini. And the soups!!! Definitely plan a stop here! There’s also a cute antiques shop right across the street you can visit while you wait! Love Blue Quail Deli!

We stop at Blue Quail every time we’re in town for market days. Love the chicken salad sandwich and husband & daughter love the club. Great food and always super fresh & yummy!

Yum. Went because I saw it on the TV show Daytripper. Lived up to the hype. The cream of jalapeno soup was so worth it. I dipped my sandwich into the soup to clean the bowl and get all the little bits of jalapeno. Little more expensive than most sandwich shops, but you get a way better product. If you want cheap, go to the Whataburger up the street. If you want good food, come here.

Parking: You park right on the town square and walk right up.

Kid-friendliness: They have awesome grilled cheese for the little ones.

Great small town sandwich restaurant. Today I had the brisket sandwich meat was a little dry but the sauce makes it up, the jalapeno cream soup is next level.
Definitely coming back.

Omg. Plz plz plz go inside and try there cream of jalapeño soup. It’s so so so good. You might even want to go back there just for this. Loved it.

Also had Vegetarian Panini. Nothing special but today’s day saver was the soup.

Vegetarian options: Jalapeño soup and Veggie Panini are good options for vegetarians

Mind and palate absolutely blown. My sister and I recently visited from Chicago with our grandma who’s from Victoria. She recommended we have lunch at Blue Quail while visiting Goliad and insisted we try the jalapeño soup. Wow! BEST SOUP IV’E EVER EATEN, hands down! We also both ordered Pam’s panini which was delicious! The only negative was that I couldn’t take Blue Quail back to Chicago with us! Hoping to dine in again in the future!

Food was good and they use fresh bread which was delicious. However it seemed quite pricey for a small town.

Parking: Easy to find street parking.

Kid-friendliness: Have kids menu options and even changed the cheese for the grilled cheese sandwich.

Very happy with my veggie filled sandwich on homemade wheat bread! The cream of jalapeño soup was tasty but obviously SPICY as a jalapeño soup would be! Hubby had to finish that for me. Staff was super friendly and service quick! So nice to have veggie options in town!

Vegetarian options: Excellent veggie filled sandwich and veggie soup options too.

Portions smaller than previous visits. My husband’s sandwich was so small I gave him half of mine. Bread was stillpartially frozen. They were not on point today. It’s over priced for what we were served.

Okay for a small town but if it had any competition it would close. Very basic.
