Good food - clean environment - friendly staff - very clean bathrooms with extra care exhibited. Much appreciated and plan to return next time we are in town.
We had the 16oz ribeye with grilled veggies and green beans and another plate with chicken fried steak, grilled veggies and mashed potatoes, both were a little above average.
Appetizers were ok but food was not the greatest! Our service was great though!
Owner treats his wife with dementia terrible and scolds everyone around him from his table in back. Come for the the terrible wait for an overpriced freezer burned steak a salad with homade tastesless dressing made W/ vegetable oil ,and when goliad gold olive oil starts coming from john Kolb's ranch steer clear olives are incredibly susceptible to pesticides and despite the advice of neighboring olive farms they've been lazy pumping round up on the weeds that can easily be pulled by hand.
I heard it closed a while back, this was my favorite restaurant! Great food every time we visited. If it’s open I’m gonna rush down there to eat!!!
While in town from Victoria, we stopped in. WOW!! I can’t remember the last time I felt that the service outshined the food. Don’t get me wrong… the food is absolutely delicious. Wish I could eat it all. However, the service and conversation from the owner (Sam) and his family was the best we’ve had in years. Bless them and their hearts for God with your business.
If you are in the area, you should definitely stop here! Everything we had was delicious and the service was amazing. By the end of the meal my kids were talking about how good everything was and how we are definitely coming back, even though we live 9 hours away, and my daughter was telling my husband to make sure he tips well cuz everyone was so kind.
Food and service were awesome......Owner and staff took excellent care of us.Food was delicious hot and was out quickly.Most definitely would recommend to everyone.......

We drove from our home in Raisin and was just a short trip for a delightful Turkey and Dressing with two sides, and a yummy dessert. Price was good and food was excellent.
