First time here. I ordered the 12 oz. Ribeye steak with salad, it was really good, my friend had the carne guisada, beef, rice, and fried beans, it was really good too. Nice service. We truly enjoyed the food. Truly recommend this place if you are visiting the surroundings in Goliad, TX

What a great stop we made into La Bahia. They really made our hungry family feel welcome and we left satisfied. Great plates for six of us and service was super. I don't leave reviews often but they deserved a five star. Hope to luck into stopping in again.

Decent small restaurant with a friendly albeit overwhelmed staff. We went on a night when they had three large parties (2 with reserved tables, 1 walk in) so it may not be a fair observation about staffing. Our service was slow but the wait for the food wasn't bad. It actually arrived quicker than we expected given how busy they were. We had multiple servers due to how busy they were and yet no one really checked on us. Food was good overall but a bit bland.
The place is nothing fancy but it's clean. I think the owners and staff try hard to serve a good meal in a friendly atmosphere. We may stop in again to see how things are on a more normal night. We know that big parties with a huge run of tables can really throw things off in a restaurant.
Prices weren't bad overall so that's a nice thing to see, especially lately.

We went here based on a recommendation but had a mixed experience. The food was good but I believe they may be understaffed. The air conditioner wasn't working and we waited about 25 minutes to be seated. The service was courteous and they were apologetic about the wait.

Recommended by a friend we decided to give it a try. It's a cute place, the people are nice. The food was super bland, there wasn't much served with the meals and we were charged extra for asking for another type of hot sauce that was more then just spicy watery whatever..then for 2 people the bill was almost $40 .. won't go back.
