The food was amazing. My son absolutely loved the carne quisada and the salsa. I enjoyed my whole meal and the queso because it has meat in it. I would definitely recommend coming here and trying it out. I know my family all agreed we will be coming back.

Let me start by saying the 1 star reviews listed are accurate. 4 star reviews must be written by people who work here. This was hands down the WORST MEXICAN FOOD I’ve had in my life. The salsa was watery tomatoes with some jalapeño seeds in it. The chips were bland and stale. The beans tasted like warm mush with no flavor. Quesadilla chicken tasted like it had been “marinated” in water with no salt. The beef fajitas had zero flavor and were served on a plate that had been sitting under the warmer so long they developed a film on top. The queso, which was just melted cheese from a can with nothing added to it, was literally the best thing on the table.

This was recommended by the locals while my wife and I visited Goliad to see the historical sites. We took their advice and I'm certainly glad we did! I ordered the chicken mole enchiladas while my wife ordered the cheese enchiladas, and we shared a guacamole bowl to enjoy with the complimentary chips. The Cokes were fresh and carbonated just right! Great service and many kudos to the lady who served us (I tipped her well), and the food was absolutely delicious. It's not a fancy place but it was clean and quiet, and plenty of space outside for parking. We'll definitely be back the next time we come into town!

We ate here since it was close to our accommodations for the evening at the nearby Presisio LA Bahia fort. The service was great, but the food left us unimpressed. The salsa was more like tomato sauce with a few spices. The cheese dip was very blan, as was most of the food we ordered. The beans were my favorite item on my plate. Hopefully, it was just an off day.

Marliza took care of me at La Bahia!! I felt welcomed when she greeted me by name. She went out of her busy schedule to come give me a hug and sit me down by the bar. I liked how she remembered my favorite cocktail, and kept doing temperature checks during my visit. Feeling welcomed is everything to me!! Thank you Marliza for your exemplary customer service

Have always wondered about this little gem named after La Bahia. It was empty for a 1:45 pm visit. Food came quickly. Chips and salsa was brought to the table immediately. Ordered a small queso and it was good. Perfect thickness and consistency. No Rotel in it which is a plus for me. CFS was good; not overcooked or over fried. Meat wasn’t tough and stringy like other places I’ve tried it at. Baked potato was loaded and buttery. Good overall.
