I like to eat here anytime I'm in Gonzales , Texas. Good food. I had chicken enchiladas. Not the best I have ever had , but they are good. They had red sauce on the chicken meat. I'm not used to that. But it was good. Or I was really hungry. I have had breakfast here before. Breakfast is really good.

Save your money.. ordered a Mexican burger in the drive thru waited almost 25 minutes before going inside and demanding a refund. Cashier or guy at the window was so green my food was just sitting there for another 5-10 minutes while I got my refund. Owner still had the audacity to try and push the food off on me like it wasn't sitting there getting cold for 35+ minutes. 35 minutes and no food I could've went to McDonald's> Acapulco
Sunday afternoon and parking lot was nearly at capacity. They had live entertainment, which was different than other times we have been here. It added to the experience.
Portions are large and food options are plentiful. My favorite is their shrimp diabolo. Spicy but tasty. My husband is checking out their platters. Hasn't been disappointed yet.

When we walked into the restaurant on a bustling Saturday night, I expected a lively atmosphere, but instead, we found it surprisingly quiet with only a handful of diners scattered around. The waitress, although friendly, was rather sluggish in her service and hardly checked in on us during our visit.
When our meals finally arrived, we were disappointed to find that the food was not only cold but also disappointingly bland, lacking the flavor we had hoped for. The experience took a turn for the worse when I discovered an unwelcome surprise—a roach lurking in the salsa—after dipping several chips into it.
The sight of it was unsettling, and when we alerted the waitress, her reaction was disheartening. She casually inspected the salsa, confirmed our fears with a nonchalant glance, and merely offered an apology before walking away as if it were a trivial matter. It was a disturbing end to an already disappointing dining experience.

Food was good. SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE no one came to check on drink orders for refills or if we needed anything else just asked us once if we needed anything else when the food came out and we all only had 1 glass of our drink on table and there was 4 of us and I couldn't find the waitress did ask another but still nothing and there was only 3 tables and it was slow

The fajitas were really delicious and tasty. The service was great and the waitress was attentive. The far bathroom has coach roaches. Please be aware. Other than that, everything was great

Over priced and terrible service. Fyi they now charge $0.30 per hot saice😂😂😂
Worst over priced food in town, not to mention the service is terrible. $19.95 for a Gordita plate which included a $0.30 charge per hot sauce. Wjen I called to question the rate I was told “our prices went up a couple of days ago”
Definitely recommend going to any other Mexican restaurant than this place where you will get better food, service, and proces.
