A group of ten ladies came to this restaurant after celebrating the Come and Take It Festival. It was a friend’s birthday and this restaurant was recommended. We had our chips and salsa, placed our orders and enjoyed a margarita. More chips came and the waitress apologized that the computer was down and our food would be delayed. One hour later, she finally returned and said that the computer was down and if we wanted them to cook our food, we would have to pay cash. If we didn’t have cash, we could just pay for our drinks. We confirmed that after being there an hour and a half, our food hadn’t even been prepared. We pointed out that another table had been served, even though they ordered after us. She said they were paying cash. We pointed out that we also had cash, and had been waiting. The restaurant did not comp our drinks or offer an apologize. One can only surmise that they did not want to serve a table full of women from out of town. We did not appreciate the inhospitable reception.
