I ordered the huevos rancheros. I've had this dish at dozens of restaurants in the Los Angeles and Northwest Arkansas area. This was unlike any version of huevos rancheros I've ever had because the eggs were typically American with nothing on top at all. It was a simple egg over easy with small diced potatoes and refried beans on the side. The service atmosphere were friendly towards the customers but the food was quite bland.
We arrived at about noon. 2 adults 2 kids. I ordered breakfast. It's small inside, so we got kinda cold and went outside. The food was good. It took a little while for us to get it. I think it was expensive, but I honestly hate paying a lot for Mexican food.
Incredibly delicious grilled chicken and tacos. This is the real deal! The Pollo Asado (grilled chicken) dinner for $11 is a steal. One half of a bone in chicken portioned for ease. Charro beans with little hot dogs and pickled jalapeno vegetable relish, Mexican rice, steamed onion, freshly made tortillas. Served with verde and rojo salsas. Ask for limon (limes) no problem. The chicken is grilled juicy to perfection with a dry rub of annatto, chipotle, ancho, and guajillo peppers...
